I do find it mildly amusing a new user comes onto OTIB this morning getting many excited about having a blue away kit - apparently just because it hasn't been released yet
Yes there was talk of blue on the away kit - but NOT a blue kit, this was even back when Gould was at the club, but how about the idea that the delay is because this has been updated?
Let's wait until we see what is released before everyone gets in a frenzy??
I'm assuming they want as many people to buy the home/3rd kit as that's all that's available for holidays and 1st game of the season and the uptake has been shite.
Away kit will be the best of the bunch.

Would someone from the Trust be able to say why the decision was made to not make a fuss over the rebranding, given that the club had only just undertaken the MOU?
If they kick up a fuss they may lose the limited access they actually get to the club, and they like the access.

The Club needs to engage with fans in this aspect of its business affairs more than any other.
The mad thing is they really don't. It's so so simple to get right. People want a nice kit, a wacky keeper kit. A smart training kit and some decent accessories (hats/gloves/caps/coats etc).
That's it. The thick ***** can't even get gloves and hats in stock for winter

I never said I wanted those days. If anything I am making the point that today is far better so that's why I don't understand the complaints!
I still play football two to three times a week and I can assure you that today's shirts are much better than the heavy cotton shirts (via Toffs) that catch the rain and make one sweat buckets.
I apologise if my original post led anyone to think that I wished us to go back to that type of kit and how it was acquired. No way. My point was I got behind the team even when the kit was so basic and I get behind them now when kits are far more stylish (and more comfortable to wear).
Clubs especially bristol city want their brand/kits to be seen as iconic and fashionable and have worked hard the last few years with hummel to ensure the kits and brand were just that.
The reason people are rightly pissed off is they have thrown that out of the window by picking an uncool brand who have uncool designs and then on top of that the quality is shoddy and poor with new random logos all over the place.

Would somebody please correct me if I,m wrong. We began last season with the version of the Arsenal shirt, which I didn't like at all then switched suppliers midway through the season to the very nice striped shirt. We were promised that this would be our kit for next season as well to appease supporters who had bought it.
So why, why have they tinkered with it when they had no good reason to and had promised not to. It smacks of profitteering to me , all those fans that have to have the latest kit now have to fork out yet another 50 odd quid.
They haven't changed the kit. O neills don't seem to be able to use a consistent template

Rubbish
The 59 page thread consists of several fans making multiple posts (moans). As far as the majority of fans don't make me laugh. You are a HANDFUL of fans on social media. Next season at Ashton Gate see how many fans at the ground are wearing the new kit and then tell me it's the majority of fans. Christ, get a grip and stop over inflating your own importance.
What a strange strange angry little response
Why are you reading and posting on this thread then?

Jesus effing christ I hadn't seen that section.
This has finished me off now. Clipart we're so extraordinarily proud of we made a t-shirt with it on the front AND on the back. Because you can never have too many copies of the same image. This is all totally normal behaviour. I am convinced there's some imbecile sat at Ashton Gate using desktop publishing software, beaming proudly at every basic clipart layout they can come up with like a 4 year old at the end of art class.
The imbecile is Jon Lansdown a man should be nowhere near anything let alone anything commercial.
Even that shitty production company Fever Pitch seems to be putting out the same shite every new video/photo session.

Why did we swap suppliers with Wycombe. Another lovely shirt...
Because they chose profit over quality

When you've got fans wanting to spend money, they love the club and want to get some merch and yet they still can't find a single thing they want to buy, someone has seriously ****ed up.
This is the problem. I went into the shop as I needed a baseball cap the quality was hilariously shit and it was 20 quid.
I could go online and make a better and cheaper one myself

I still can't get over those hats
When did the official store become a car boot sale?
I went in and saw them the other day they are as bad as they look along with the baseball caps.
Genuinely wouldn't be surprised if they were made by Vistaprint

Can you buy and own a stock image? See if you can buy it and ask City to pay to be able to use it
Anyone can own the image for about £30. Theyve changed it and put an additional copyright on it

I guess, without much knowledge of either's abilities, that Robinson is better than Joe from the little I've seen of them over the past three years.
However my comments about the American owner is based on my experience of American companies and their American personnel, that they believe that they are so much better than any other country and it's people. Coca Cola and Gillette were ones I had dealings with at very high levels of management and they were particularly arrogant and demeaning.
Tony Khan who runs it is more interested in wrestling and the jaguars. I doubt he has any input at Fulham that matters
