Back to the match itself from a neutral perspective I agree with GN post match in all honesty but he needed to admit Liverpool played very well for the first 30 mins in second half. I actually thought Man Utd edged it with chances in the first half. After 4 or 5 its a capitulation and the last couple of goals they conceded were embarrasing. Fernandez attitude was embarrassing also. Also not sure what point Souness and Carragher were trying to make on Man Utd. They have had a really good upturn in performances and they mention the last 2 or 3 years?

Its amazing they remain a league 1 outfit in all honesty their stadium and facilities are so out of date its scary. Even if they got a new stadium confirmed tomorrow it would take 2 seasons to be ready. Its funny when we last played them they were chanting how they got their new stadium...nearly 10 years ago now.

We made them look good with the amount of mistakes second half. Cornick was dreadful. Definite hangover from Man City and worrying to see two more injuries.

Performance got worse with the inuries but even before that we looked nackered and outmuscled.

Some stats are ridiculous on the game. Strength, Acceleration and Pace has always been poorly judged. Semenyos strength was at 14 I think when for me should be 16 / 17.

I would say its similar. There are lots of Man City shirts and training gear around gyms over the last 4 or 5 years. Can't remember many Chelsea fans in school other than those with Italian heritage. Not many in college or work etc.

When they last went down he was throwing his players under the bus. This season they are mostly his playes and he still throws them under the bus albeit alot less. They are playing 5 out of the top ten in the next 6 games including Forest Green battling for survival ( would love to see Ferguson put Joey in his place on the touchline ). I think they could easily be drawn into a relegation scrap and Joey is not the man you want for one of those.

Imo it felt like Swindon and MK Dons were the real competition for most of the season. MK Dons were smashing teams up, getting over 100 goals. Chesterfield had a good little team then i think. Was it Morsy, Doyle and Clucas to name just a few?

Not small enough to die out or even become a fulltime non league entity. I would say though they follow a consistent cycle of a yo yo between league 2 and 1 and normally finish well in their return to league 1. Their facilities and stadium (whilst slowly improving im told) is holding them back massively. They are nowhere near championship ready and their recent plight is hilarious. I think best we can hope for is being a league 2 mainstay with occasional delusions of becoming a top league on side.
