Not small enough to die out or even become a fulltime non league entity. I would say though they follow a consistent cycle of a yo yo between league 2 and 1 and normally finish well in their return to league 1. Their facilities and stadium (whilst slowly improving im told) is holding them back massively. They are nowhere near championship ready and their recent plight is hilarious. I think best we can hope for is being a league 2 mainstay with occasional delusions of becoming a top league on side.

Don't tell me theres loads of stories where the are hundreds of gasheads in every city and holiday resort on the planet.

I hope so mate. However I remember us being in their position many times in this league and managing to get results out of teams in similar or better form than we are in now.

Amazed he is taken seriously by anyone in football. The blokes an utter clown, he thinks hes some philospher on life and contradicts himself time and time again when it suits his agenda. Most serious of all he assaults people and gets away with it.

Luckily for Everton it is still quite tight at the bottom. We might see better Everton performances at home but they do look poor.

I imagine Wigan players are buzzing after that win. Gonna be a tough game!

Relegated to Championship: Southampton, Bournemouth and West Ham. Promoted to Championship: Plymouth, Wednesday, Shrews or Wycombe?

Is this a Library chant is sung by every set of away supporters and id wager every week. Everytime I have gone away with City we have sung it.

Alex Scott - Treasure his outstanding talent
Kodjias Wrist replied to Curr Avon's topic in Football Chat
Yes I think we all want our players (especially young and expensive ones!) to do well so there is an element of us seeing through rose tinted glasses. As @Numero Unosaid there is a huge difference between the two. Scotts development was accelerated because we didn't have enough options with the injury crisis and a pretty poor side in general, whereas Han suffered from an inflated squad under a manager who switched players frequently in and out of the team. The obvious one for us fans would be that he contributes more scores and assists far more than Han. I can't fault Hans energy at times and for every below par performance, there was a very good one too. I am not sure whether his hair style like Chong at Birmingham made him stand out, but he seemed to get alot of positive reviews from oppostion fans compared to most of our team! Both had potential but Scott is more consistent and is that level or two above him ability wise IMO. -
Some awful pricing assumptions there.

Had a look at their forum this morning and they are in OTIB meltdown mode. Very complimentary about Scott but a couple of interesting comments like we have better players made me laugh. Nothing like the PNE under Alex Neill. They don't score goals so either the forwards are poor or their creativity from players is too. I can see them dropping bottom 8 if they aren't careful. On a sidenote for those that went, what were the prem loan signings they had like? -
Us football fans can be fickle. 2 consecutive defeats its doom and gloom and 2 consecutive wins its "up the football league we go!", but we could easily finish top 10. As silly as it sounds 7 points seperate 5th from 16th.

Preston fans crying about gamesmanship ?. The championships most notorious team for it over the last decade. No one even comes close to them. -
Just one of those bitter sad blokes in life. Career coming to an end too so probably see him at rovers next season.
