Oh dear. This post comes up every now and then. It has been explained many times after being relegated last time and falling to the foot of league 1 there were several threads from rovers fans on their forum not to mention numerous tweets gloating st our demise. Then the tables turned and I guess we cant stop laughing at them back now. This thread highlights their stupidity on a near daily basis.

Whilst I agree with you I dont think its as wild as we think it is. Vacancies in Championship recently; Us , Sheffield , Nottingham and potentially Derby have gone for other candidates. Depending on how desperate he is for job, a well funded league one side could be where its at. I know Pompy fans would love to have him back for a second stint. They spent a lot more this season than I thought they would so who knows, maybe they could entice someone like cook.

Even their derogatory jibes are unintelligible. They have another forum which houses a lot more normal gas heads but that gas chat forum is home to a very large amount of thick as **** clampits.

I dont think I have ever heard anyone in Bristol say gurt lush without jesting. The way I have seen bristolians portrayed in skins is embarrassing.

Decent player who netted most of his goals early on in the season then went through a large period without scoring but not sure if that was down to injury. Surprised they aren't claiming the title yet.

You know what I love is when they call us deluded. Getting managers like Hughton applying for our job and they have Robbie Fowler says an awful lot. Still it makes them feel better. Most prem fans I work with didn't even know there was a Bristol Rovers! I don't know why they keep making themselves look silly , if roles reversed I would keep quiet and focus on my team.

Look I'm not really one of these conspiracy types of people. But I'm not sure I believe the chinese media and there numbers. I am concerned about the numbers in Spain and Italy will be repeated here. Hazard a guess to the numbers in 3/4 weeks? Deaths daily in the thousands?

Having only started watching City when we got relegated with ward, there wasn't many programs or highlights to watch for me as there is now. It was mostly teletext and highlights coverage the following day I believe? Either way i remember rovers had some decent players at the time. Walters, Cureton, Roberts, Astafiez?( really cant be bothered to check spelling ). Ellington was good but Lita was better.

Remember though that alongside this will be non covid related. But I agree its worrying I just hope we dont all get hit at once !

Yeah that's the big worry isn't it. Trouble is how long do you avoid them for? A cure won't be likely for several months so I've read. Can't leave them alone because they have serious conditions and need care.

Wow three million a year for a lower league one club. We need to bring in some sort of wage cap like rugby do. The amount of excess money flying around can then by thrown back down the chain to grassroots which we are failing to see.

Its dodgy though ain't it. I mean is it me or does something not add up with them lot. I know we laugh at their players sells now but back in the 90's and early 2000's didnt they sell Hayles, Robert's, Ellington, Agogo etc for quite big money back then? Including the sale of Lambert and sell ons with that how have they always struggled to bring players in? What happened to all the fees they received? Comparative to other clubs they should have more to show for it.

He has really dropped in form for them. Doubt many clubs in our league interested in him right now.

That post from rovers forum got me thinking. I have been watching city since 98/99 and the lowest I have personally had was when we were bottom of league one with SOD. He said himself at the time that some of our fans had fallen out of love with the club. Generally we didnt have a lot to look forward to but now here we are in a lovely redeveloped stadium! Imagine being them lot and having half all!
