No but it is the same Wright that used to play for us and Davidson used to be our chairman.

Maybe it is just a Numbers game

No journalism involved. Most local news outlets are nothing more than advertising rags these days.

Kind of reminds me of the Simpsons “it’s my first day” excuse

I think it is more likely that Leeds get a result at Brentford than Burnley get a result against Newcastle. Anything is possible but I think Burnley will be relegated.

Quadruple my ass
Winning both domestic cups isn’t terrible. CL final coming up. Fair play to Liverpool for chasing City and coming mighty close

There’s another twist to come, isn’t there?

You couldn’t really aim at Arsenal (except this year), they’ve barely spent in the last 10 years because of the stadium, in fact you have to admire their ability to still be up there competing IMO.
Chelsea and United absolutely. Liverpool to an extent but I find their transfer policy one of the better ones out of the top clubs. They buy players to fit their system, rather than buy players for their name.
Nothing comes close financially to City’s spending though over the last 5 years
True about City.
City 3-2
-
Norwich losing 5-0. Wouldn’t bet against them winning their next league match 5-0. Proper yo yo club
City 1-2
-
Can see why City have signed a goal scorer
-
Leeds 1-0

How can any proper football fan want to see City win?
A lot on here whinge about money ruining football and the gap between the leagues getting bigger then want to see the money club win the league?
Along with the Emirates, the Etihad is probably the most soulless place I’ve been to watch football. No atmosphere whatsoever, perhaps they’ve got so used to winning they don’t know how to react when it doesn’t go their way.
You could level the money accusation against Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea etc. Not Man Utd as they’re nowhere near winning but they’re all financed by owners or debt.
I have no issue with Liverpool as a club but all Liverpool supporters are gobby tossers. Every last one.

I would love to see Liverpool win it just because I would love to see the Quadruple.
4th place will go to Spurs but they'll score i like the 96th minute of 3 minutes added on to get a draw.
Leeds to go down because I'd much rather play them than Burnley.
No thanks. Liverpool fans are insufferable enough already.

Since sacking Dyche they have gained 10 points, winning 3 in a row I think, that’s probably kept them in with a sniff of staying up

It will be interesting to see how Manure get on next season. The team, one of the most expensive in the pl have seen off a manager and a caretaker manager this season. How managers does it take to get the same set of players to perform consistently?
The problems there run deeper than the coaching. They seem to have adopted a similar recruitment process to 2000’s Real Madrid, buying good players but without considering the team. Not so much galacticos, more like desperados.

I was going to post this last night, but just assumed it would've already been posted. Looking forward to seeing what Acey can do, perhaps eventually fill the void of Benarous in and around the first team. Good to see we've snapped up Sion too. The link with Guernsey could prove fruitful for years to come, young players with experience playing with Men at a decent level.
I was surprised I couldn’t see it anywhere. Maybe all the forum posters are on the beach already ?
I presume this is the same Agostino that played for us?
