  1. This has “gas” written all over it
  2. I’m sure people didn’t have issues with this before last night so why now? Thought he patched up second half and was a lot better. Time to move on to another difficult game Saturday
  3. Naismith made a poor error for their first, but after that wasn’t that bad. You can see a very good player in there, times his tackles well, great on the ball and clearly got a good delivery on him. Seems like he can play numerous positions though
  4. Disagree with this, actually thought we were a lot better than this stage last season. Going forward we’re still a good side even without Semenyo, at the back and in the midfield is where are problems were today. Really isn’t worth throwing the toys out of the pram over two games when reality is we have 44 games left
  5. He also said his son is not Bristolian, so I won’t trust him personally
  6. Just seems a bit of a blame game thread if I’m honest, he took set plays for Luton where he got 8 assists last season from centre back. He even put in that excellent ball for Weimanns goal v Hull As for Sykes he’s played there numerous times and Tanner wasn’t in the original squad
  7. Think a draw may have been fair but thought Sunderland edged it due to the midfield battle. Both attacks looked good and both defences looked all over the place as I thought all goals were gifts
  8. He’s been coming off the bench and even starting a few games for Villa at a young age, I’d be very shocked if he doesn’t stay in the prem
  9. You didn’t type this whilst looking at the menu at an Indian did you Jimmy?
  10. If Bassini comes close to Birmingham then they’re screwed. Even if it’s temporary, one look at his Wikipedia and he shouldn’t be near
  11. They’d have gone down last season if it wasn’t for points deductions. Actually thought last couple of seasons they could’ve done alright but they’ve always found themselves sucked in a relegation battle. If there are no big changes at the club then I think this could be the year they drop
  12. I think it’s very common, from the looks of the Robins uncut it seems training seems to be taken by the other coaches whilst Pearson watches on. Sir Alex Ferguson apparently never took training either and left it to his coaches
  13. Think Gerrard has always been the man manager and Beale is the “brains” between them. A lot of Rangers/Villa fans seem to think it will be a big loss but similarly you’d expect Gerrard to have some knowledge about tactics and have the contacts to replace him in the coaching staff
  14. Yeah really want Ukraine to get through, because of the recent months they’ve had and also would be hilarious seeing neither Scotland and Wales qualify for the World Cup again. It’s also on Sky Sports Football
  15. Can’t believe I’m seeing Hibs fans turning their nose up at him. Can’t see them getting much better if I’m honest. Anyone else think he could take Moore/Vyner/O’Dowda with him?
  16. Baker is under contract no matter what so he wouldn’t be on there. If he decides to cancel his contract then it will be announced separately I’d imagine
  17. Won’t be Palmer as he’s under contract unless it’s been terminated. Think we’ll release Britton and O’Dowda Be in talks with/retain Klose and Cundy Unsure on King, clearly a good player off the pitch and when he’s played I don’t think he’s been bad. Not sure he’ll get much games next season though
  18. This. Wish him all the very best but my word did our fans have a strange obsession with him. Had people calling for him to start over Chris Martin but the only thing he has going for him is a good U23 record which Bell and Conway have had and they’re 3 years younger. Also have Palmer-Houlden and Henry coming through who are supposed to be good aswell
  19. I presume Joe Allen got nothing for his Tyson Fury impression?
  20. Thought he would be more passionate as he does support the rugby team, presumably that’s not the case!
  21. Seen this on Facebook and then obviously on Twitter, hilarious. Don’t think he said anything out of line mind but there is a part clearly muted. I’m personally not a fan, don’t think he has the connection with the City fans, would want him to stick to the rugby and have Toby Osbourne or a City fan on announcements. Tim Shires and Adam Baker had completely different roles to him though
