  1. Think we’ll keep him but purely because we’ll get rid of a lot of centre backs. Kalas has a year left - last chance to cash in, Nige doesn’t seem to fancy Vyner/Moore, Cundy also has a contract expiring and no one knows whether Baker will stay on or retire. Atkinson looking like the only centre back that will stay for certain Edit: For clarity I would opt to keep both Klose and Cundy
  2. He needs to be careful he doesn’t get hit by a smooth criminal… I’ll get my coat
  3. Could’ve understood it if they lost to Everton. They beat them and despite losing to Norwich they still have a favourable run of games compared to Everton’s. As someone said, I’d happily take him at the Gate but his playing days here and the fact he’ll likely have better offers, I’d say it’s very unlikely
  4. Perhaps to do with legs around him at Coventry? Thought Hamer was superb in both games we played against them this season and their side is full of energy
  5. Think it’s been better this season than it was last two summers. Atkinson looks a good player and done well for a first season in the league, James for free is a good signing although been under par recently (thought he wasn’t too bad yesterday though), King contributed more than I thought and Tanner will be a great player for the future. Giving Simpson a new deal was a horrific decision in hindsight though
  6. If he’s so critical about the U23 staff and Tinnion then why would he give the players a chance and bring Alex Ball in as first team coach to replace Downing and Simpson. He clearly isn’t critical of them ffs
  7. We shouldn’t no, we were financially in a better position then and with this squad and financial position. I can’t see how Johnson improves us, will be thankful of his time here though
  8. Think this is a very sensible shout, and hopefully shouldn’t cause controversy
  9. Oh don’t get me wrong, I don’t expect them to be violent on them but surely more of an effort has got to be made to stop it?
  10. Agree, but also why are the stewards allowing it to happen? If an adult ran on to the pitch asking for a players shirt I’d be rugby tackled within seconds. Absolutely ridiculous
  11. Apparently happened again yesterday with Massengo, how are they genuinely being allowed to do this?
  12. Think Vyner and Moore are off in the summer, Pearson clearly doesn’t want them, looks like Baker won’t stick around either. At the moment we could do a lot worse than extending both contracts
  13. Very interesting he says that when we’ve had just the one after being denied so many stonewall penalties. Don’t even think Swansea have had a penalty this season
  14. Well I certainly hope the OP got the attention he ordered
  15. Finished the season like we did last? We ended the season poorly, relying on youngsters and our last win of the season was on match day 36, and we only got 3 more points in the final 10 games which were all draws. The Blackburn game this season was on Matchday 37 and the performance v West Brom is better than any of the performances we put in the final 10 games of last season. I’d definitely say already we’ve finished the season better than last
  16. Didn’t think he was at his best but also probably not his fault with the amount of options he had in the first half. Early signs are very good from him…
  17. This is probably unpopular but 18/19 was the best team we had. Quite simply the teams above us were incredibly strong, much stronger than the top of the division this year. Personally think the only two teams that are definitely stronger than the 18/19 side are Fulham and Bournemouth
  18. I think the difference between Gould and Ashton, is that Ashton would look to sell at the first opportunity and Gould has said he’d rather take a points deduction than to sell our prized assets Scott is 18 and this is his first full season in the league, tied him down the summer so I’m confident he’ll be here come the end of the season. Semenyo we have no reason to sell, and looks like the club want to keep him. Massengo is the one I’m worried about, looks like he enjoys it here but not long left on his deal and would want to play at the top level again
  19. Paul Clement joining as assistant, poor manager but obviously a well regarded coach. Think it could be an interesting one
  20. Agree, would be unfair not to give Weimann man of the match but he’s a close second. Dasilva is a very good left back but Pring has done ever so well to claim his spot
  21. Wasn’t aware of this, knew his career fell off but thought it was more down to injuries. Either way good for him hope he has a good tournament
  22. I wouldn’t boo unless it’s to put him off or something. Shame about Afobes injury as he’d have been excellent if we could keep him fit for the season Boo the **** out of him please
  23. They’re awful those commentators
  24. By your logic then Weimann is a striker because he’s one of the top scorers in the division?
  25. I promise you no one on here cares at this moment of time
