Ah the beer Keller . How the **** we came out of there alive I’ll never know some nights ?? brilliant night out . Dancing on the tables , swiping steins & just having it right off in your early twenty’s.
I remember one night the band had a break & the drummer forgot his sticks. As soon as they left I ran on stage & started playing the drums . I looked up & there was about four bouncers heading towards me .???

let’s just say it hurt in the morning

Had my 18th birthday do in the Bierkeller,  also used to drink in the other one in Frogmore St, crazy days

Amazing how many pubs close to the ground that have closed in pretty recent times -

    Wedlock

    Ship & Castle

    Rising Sun

    The Imp

    The Albert

    Princess of Wales

    Luckwell Hotel

Just off the top of my head.

I don't recall the last one, where was it exactly? ?

I've noticed a lot of kids are getting surnames as their first names like Harrison and Taylor.

Many girls names have to end in 'a' nowadays. Ada, Eva, Olivia, Luna, Lena, Isla, Mia, Tia, Et Cetera.

Who the **** would call their kid Et Cetera? ?

They do make me laugh with their boycott nonsense.

Them saying that refuse to go to their home games is like me stating that I'd refuse to make Rachel Riley a full English after I've spent the night with her.

Actually, I suppose there is half a chance that I might one day spend the night with Rachel Riley - so it's not a great analogy..!

Apparently their supposedly huge fan base is already boycotting games ?

Don't ever recall the Sceptre being called a Rovers pub. It just seemed like a pub for passers by.

In the early to mid seventies, all their top boys (BD etc) were in there after the 74 Gloucester Cup, their big night against us, not done a lot since.

Apart from a few unpopular city centre pubs back in the 70's, yes. The Bank, The Prince Rupert and the Mailcoach. Don't think I've missed any out.

Plus the Sceptre, (Baldwin St, near Bristol Bridge, and for a while the Assize Courts, till we had that as well.
