Mentioned previously that a non-departure seriously affects our transfer plans - but does it? Aaahhh Le Tournoi. 1997, year before France '98 IIRC. Was at the Parc des Princes for England v Brazil, and remember plenty of City there. The game was tedious, but the rest of the night in Paris was quite possibly the best and funniest night of my life...?

Morning All, I don't usually worry about other teams (other than Rovers losing), but couldn't help thinking this morning how lovely it would be to see both Leeds and Everton in the Championship next season! For me it's just because I've always historically hated "dirty Leeds", and because it's about time Everton had a taste of the real world and the financial challenges involved in being a Championship team. Also potentially a couple of really tasty fixtures for us next season! I've got a feeling Leicester will blow it though and we'll be seeing them instead. I bet there are some asses twitching on Merseyside and in Yorkshire this morning! Time will tell though eh...?

HNM signing a new contract with us is never gonna happen! If you were Andi Weimann or Nahki Wells (having previously agreed significantly reduced terms) and you saw HNM signing a new deal equal to or in excess of his old deal there would be absolute uproar in the dressing room! Any risk of undermining the good will Big Nige has built up within the squad just won't happen.
