Yep, wasn’t that gonna be on the old Whitchurch airfield? I thought that was a great idea, having a ground surrounded by Hartcliffe, Knowle West, Withywood, Whitchurch, Hengrove and Brislington .... away fans would have rated it as more horrible than a trip to the Den! It would defo have been a fortress! Can you imagine the ‘welcome’ any away fan would have received in the pubs around there back in the 80s?!?!

In addition to all of this can you honestly imagine a new Sag stadium slap bang in the middle of the south Bristol heartland of City support? How long would it have taken until some of our "less reputable" "followers" felt the irresistible temptation to "tamper" with the new home of the Blue Few?

Another absolutely ridiculous Blue Few "pie in the sky" notion that fell flat on its ass...

There could be Teds in the away end at their final game, who knows?

Ashamed to admit that I went to their last ever game at Eastville. Sat in a sparsely populated away end on a sunny afternoon IIRC. I'd go again though for a final game, although I don't really like funerals...

Oh I get that -  they acted like the ground stealing vultures we all knew them to be. Never forgive, never forget.

For entertainment value though seeing them lose in front of 500 to the likes of Concord Rangers and St. Albans City ………...………............

I agree there would be massive entertainment value, however there are plenty of other things in this life to make you smile (admittedly not quite so many at the moment).

For me, never miss an opportunity to stick it to the Blue Few for one big final time...

it`s an odd one. Part of me does want them to fold but it would be infinitely funnier if they didn`t but ended up in Conference South - or even more amusing, end up like Gloucester City and get put in Conference North due to geography!

I want them gone! Never liked 'em and never will.

Don't ever forget that they were more than happy to see the end of us back in '82...

See the new Manager was “at it” already yesterday praising the blue hordes that made it to Fleetwood. He knows....... give the Saggies a bit of praise and you literally  have a free ride for 12 months.

So are we saying he's potentially a bit of a "Lady Garner"...?

  6. Started a new job this week. One guy who will be working for me is one of the Blue Few, and found out on Thursday morning that I'm a City fan. Tosser couldn't wait to ask "how did you get on last night?"

I managed to remain calm (for once), but two things came to mind -

    1. I'm keeping my powder dry, however it's only a matter of time before you get some.

    2. Your days are numbered.

All joking aside, Bromley are 10/3 to win at our place tomorrow. That's really good value for a side top of the conference up against a team with a dismal record in the FA Cup-particularly against non league sides- and without their main striker. Those of you who took my advice to back South Africa before the world cup started may want to re-invest a small portion of those winnings!

Whilst I appreciate the tip (and acknowledge the fact that it appears you gave some sound advice on the outcome of the rugby world cup), I have to say that the day I ever take notice of anything whatsoever said by one of the Blue Few it will indeed be a cold day in hell.

In fact if one of those wanchors told me it was raining outside I'd still wanna take a look out the window (or tent flap) myself.

    No offence obviously...
