Well - this is interesting if true...
Comment from a Mod (Peter Parker) on Gaschat - it would seem tipping point has been reached, with debts exceeding assets....
Pretty sure they are offsetting all their expenditure against the Mem value (which before some smart arse points it out I know they own it, I know), you do have to wonder what happens once the expenditure exceeds the value. Do they carry on spending well beyond our annual income or look for an escape route?
Is this season just one massive final push for promotion, a bit like Villa have just tried, or is their some sound business plan to eventually trying to break even on an annual basis, as I can't see selling a few extra pints and replica shirts is the answer.
Well they have already increased the credit facility beyond any secured funds -
I guess someone has to.....

In genuine sincerity, it was great to see Rovers fans appreciate all you guys applauding in the 9th minute for young Bailey Cooper.
Genuine respect from some Rovers fans.
On days like that, I am really glad that as humans, we can forget about Blue v Red, and show compassion and respect for a young life so tragically cut short.

Bullshit or truth - they have no clue!
Whilst we ALL know on here they are mere months away from liabilities outstripping the value of their one asset - The Mem.
A real chance of Administration by Xmas if this carries on.

So to be 100% clear - based on average yearly losses (lets say 900,000K) then within the next 12 months they will owe 10,260,166 - which is more than the charge over the Mem by DS.
So if the dodgy boys from Jordan decide not to put in more cash, or cannot find more cash, the only option is to either:
A) Raise another charge against the Mem (current value 12 mil give or take)
B) Go into administration to sell the only asset they have - the Mem - and recoup their money.
The other thing is that if Higgs and others are still owed the sums being quoted, then the liabilities already exceed the asset.
Bristol Rovers could be placed into administration as soon as a debtor takes them to court.
This really is the end of BRFC - for ever potentially.

Having seen another vid in addition to this, it's pretty damning when the PV steward throwing punches is dragged back by a Police Officer and a Steward and thrown to the ground.
That's unusual. I accept there was possibly provocation, but the steward threw 5 or 6 haymakers and the Police Officer grabbed him straight away.
He is clearly seen being escorted by the Police out of the stand.
Who knows what was said, but blimey, there were at least 2 stewards who completely lost the plot.
Rent-A-thug spring to mind.
Be interesting to see if any of them are charged.
It might be a bit too early to accuse Rovers this time.

The general consensus is:
Wael out.
New owners are apparently a Liverpool and Isle of Man group in conjunction with a Southampton based construction Company. The Colony Site not to be built, and UWE have leased a training area alongside M32 to the Gas.
Wether that means UWE is back on and Mem sold for housing, or Mem redeveloped and Colony site re-zoned (I thought that was impossible) is any old Gasheads guess.
Lots of confirmation from their ITK's that this is a done deal, with the Camel Riders leaving end of this months.
I have a feeling that this might not turn out as well as their fans hope - Mem sold, houses built, and no home.
Oh well.
