Probably not the best look when you are in abysmal form and bottom of the league.
Where do you watch the games @phantom ?

Under normal circumstances I should be thinking of a funny retort to your post Wendy.
But I don't think it will be our Mr Al-Quidi who pulls the plug and I fear the ending will be most unpleasant.
Spill the beans Bert - no cryptic stuff - so which creditor is likely to bring down Rovers?
The only person the 'club' owes money to is the owner isn't it?
So what will bring them down Bert?
Serious question - what do you actually know?
On Gaschat, they all seem to think you are a 'Ted' - so lets have some facts, not poorly scripted witty conjecture.
Because if you do know something, I can assure you we are all ears!

Games in hand, but other teams are picking up points here and there.......they are in real trouble if the teams below win their next 2 or 3 out of 6.
Rovers have a tough run ahead.

The 60's for me (well, the second half and first half of the 70's), never got into "ethnic" music, or punk. I was all growed up with a young family and fed up with hearing you kids saying my favorite bands were "dinosaurs" !
Speaking of "clubs", is anyone on hear old enough to remember The Globetrotters (up Whiteladies ? THAT was a place, the strip joint I went in as a callow 16 year old youth !
That's the one from my previous posts.
Bouncer would look through a porthole to let you in.

Jesus - seems like most of us spent the early mid 80's getting pissed, watching strippers and getting stoned in Rasta clubs!

It's sad to watch.
They clearly don't lack effort and commitment but they are starting to look well out of their depth.
Lose to West Ham Sunday and relegation is looming faster and faster.
All efforts should have been made to get home supporters in tonight and Sunday to boost the team.
It must be so demoralising to get beaten practically every week.
Somewhere along the way It's all been mis managed behind the scenes.
It wasn't that long ago they were in the final rounds of the Champions league, we've gone backwards as so many other clubs have invested time, money and effort and left us a long way behind in every department
I'll say it.
Lansdown gains nothing financially from Womens Football.
Even less in the circles he mixes in - it's a joke to his 'fellow businessmen'
Yet this goal surely shows there is a future.
If there ain't no £££ to be made - then Lansdown ain't interested.
That's why they are at Twerton - watch Lansdown now buy the ground, add facilities and then invest. Plus the rugby potential....oh , and land to build on.
Remind anyone of Ashton Gate / Vale?
-
Bit late - but bloody hell the keeping on that first goal...

So you are saying his wife takes a beating on an apparently regular basis so she can live in a nice house?
The same house where she craps herself when she sees him reaching for the booze?
Or maybe, she cannot leave as she knows that a man of his wealth and range of acquaintances would be able to track her down within days.
And what do you think would happen then 'Big Tone'?
Really disappointed with your crass and baseless comment.
Or do all women who live with rich men deserve a slap every now and again, you know, because £££?
Grow up, you absolute dinosaur.

I don't know if I fully agree on the last line- don't know if it is a pre-requisite, Frank at Brentford after all seems to be doing very well there and who had heard of him, but your post aside I broadly agree- though still think it's not too late to prevent that exodus.
The list of players, experienced and I'd add players who have played at a higher level than LJ did from here and abroard who have tailed off, fallen out, whatever is long- so long! More than that they've simply regressed before our eyes even starting quite well. Man-managemebnt, throwing under the bus- or even something seemingly more correctable but not in his case as setting up in a way that they're not used to, not comfortable with.
I think the level of this side is a) A signifricantly stronger style of play, identitry and b) Aiming at 5th/6th. Competing with Nottingham Forest, Preston, Cardiff etc- is that really beyond us? I think the top 3 are better overall and Fulham have a very deep squad helped by parachute payments but we should be true playoff contenders IMO.
Bentley
Hunt Moore Kalas DaSillva
Nagy Smith Massengo
Weimann Afobe Wells
The depth too...
Maenpaa
Pereira Baker Kalas DaSilva
Nagy Smith Massengo
Palmer
Wells Afobe
Or if you like, Team 1- Weimann as a wider forward/wider right midfielder pushed high, Afobe or Wells central and Eliasson on the left.
Paterson chips in from time to time- another useful option to have.
Has wasted Benkovic and Henriksen especially- the first a ballplaying CB from a notable nation like Croatia, the 2nd as you describe...Wells has scored some goals but not hit the heights he should. Benkovic should have been a bit of a ball carrying CB with Moore loaned out- a tad harsh loan out for me.
And that's just THIS season.
We had Magnússon- no Iceland are not one of the top sides in the world but are in a bit of a golden generation. He shackled Perisic in a WCQF- showed some potential in periods, wonder if he could've maybe developed into partt of a back 3. Moore-Kalas-Magnússon, two ball carriers in therte, all reasonable technically, all young enough to squeeze up.
Hegeler, O'Neil- Both somewhat injury hit yet both looked rather good early on as I recall. Playing them in a 2 did them- and us- few favours I think.
Yep, top 6 contenders with a style of play to proud of- or should be!
I'd have kept Mags for sure Mr P.
Agree with pretty much all you wrote.
Why play Williams and Baker ( who is so obviously playing out of his skin for a new contract elsewhere) and sign Benkovich, then leave out or loan Kalas and Moore?
Kalas Moore and Baker are my chosen back 3 - yet I'd bet good money that if LJ stays, Kalas and Baker request a move, and a solid offer comes in from a championship side for Moore.
Only thing I disagree with is that I honestly feel that managers need to win something at a decent level to be taken seriously by guys that pay at World Cups and in European comps.

Yep, Wells a tad better than Weimann and O’Dowda. I thought his movement complimented Afobe, they closed down well as a pair. It just isn’t working for him at the mo’. Looks a shadow of the player I’ve seen countless times over the years.
You think Wells wants to be here Dave?
His body language is awful at times.
If LJ is still here next season, Wells won't be - by choice I suspect.
I doubt if he will be the only one looking to move.
Palmer
Kalas
Moore
Fammy
Elliasson
Nagy
All will have suitors - all have looked unhappy or been (especially Moore) poorly treated.
I can see an exodus tbh.
I think most are playing for next year, not the current manager.
When pro's like Hendricksen just quit - and you don't be a 57 times international captain by fluke - then something is clearly wrong with LJ's man management of experienced players.
I guess it's hard to instruct players when you have never won anything of note as player or manager.

It certainly isn't Brian Seymour Smith.
Why does moderator Gashead1981 refer to him as Brian or BSS in many posts then?
Not arguing, just asking a question.
G1981 is Waels best mate, so he seems, so he would know surely?
Happy for you to divulge his alter-ego if you know different?

At least with no footy on we have this never-ending soap opera to keep us entertained. I'm hooked.
Like an even more sh*t comedy version of Eastenders.
Unpicking this web of intrigue, farce, back stabbing, misdirection, smoke and mirrors, rank incompetence, deluded fantasies and shattered dreams will keep future club historians busy for decades - except there probably won't be a club.

You spout so much but say very little.
Do you think ( you must do but won’t fess up) the supporters club are innocent in ALL this?
Think: New Stadium
Training ground
£25m debt
No application made to either Bristol CC or South Gloucester Council by the football club for help in identifying a site to hopefully get permission to build a stadium.
Bristol Live and GT several attempts to get Wael on line for an interview.
The absolute nonsense spouted by Wael when we were at Blackpool which Put up the value of the Fruit Market site
Solution: Get rid of SH and KM.
As for the last question, what do they need to be innocent of? Drawing attention to the way the club is run? Yes they are guilty. They should have raised it a long time ago. If I have a complaint about the running of the S/c its that they haven't been as forthright as I would have been.
Perhaps I should apply for the job.
If you have something to say then say it. Stop being a pleb. A wum, a self indulgent **** about things and ####ing speak up in proper ####ing English. You are as big a problem as the problem.
You want us to go against the owners as much as your twisted mates. You start the protest as you know what it is all about. ‘Engage, ignite,’
Supportters club ain’t supporting.
Why isn’t every supporter being told **** all from the supporters club representative since year ......
Is that acceptable gas inside your own asset?
Start the rovers revolution. Spill it, -
If you didn't know, Gasincider is Brian Seymore-Smith.
This is frickin brilliant - watching this lot throw shite at each other like chimps at a tea party while parts of the world are dying like flies.

He needs a rest.
The kid has talent - but isn't being coached in a way he understands - as per matchday commentary comments.
If he doesn't get it - then the message needs to be delivered in a way he can get it.
Video, wax crayons, role-play, whatever.
The biggest issue is that we have D grade coaches with some young players who could actually be Championship / lower Prem players one day.
HNM, Semenyo, Bakinson and Vyner.
If I were them, I'd be seeking a club with top-class coaching and fitness staff.
Just to see how good I could actually be.
