I’m sure he’s fine……likely to be earning more with us than he would with Luton (even in the Prem) - wasn’t a starter for Luton before he joined us and so would not have been a starter for them in the Prem….

More importantly, he’s a Bristol boy and will probably prefer to finish his career with his boy hood club ??

If you think that NP will play Joe B or anyone for that matter because of “his name”, I think you are very much mistaken. JB will be a versatile member of the squad who could play in a number of positions, just as he did when he was with us before. I will be delighted if and when this is finally confirmed - for me, it’s a “statement of intent” signing which will make our squad much stronger.

I hope Ashton does turn up at Ashton Gate as the atmosphere will be ramped up, making it much more uncomfortable for Ipswich!

Same here @ralphindevon- my three nephews are Argyle ST holders and so I’ve been hoping they get promoted for them as well as hopefully, me being able to jump on the train at Tiverton for an away day, down south for a change (subject to being able to get a ticket of course ?)

Be interesting to see/know how much they will get away with spending before potentially falling foul of FFP…..paid some big money on players from a salary perspective you’d imagine……
