So as it stands they need to win at least 3/4 of the remaining games, all 4 realistically.
It's great escape miracle or nothing time.
With Pompey and Blackpool to play away, both of whom need points for the Play Offs, today’s results could be defining in their season - let’s hope so!

Had a quick look at their remaining fixtures... not the easiest or run-ins.
Could Swindon send them down?
Let’s hope so......

Wally selling the Mem from under them and hot footing it back to the middle east is going to take some beating. It surely has to happen
Can’t be far off happening surely?!

Reading that champ clubs want any clubs who defer wages to have a transfer ban and when season resumes there loan players must also return.
Not sure how that’s going to work, but guess it could all be tied to the contract end dates etc.
Be bad news for us if we lose Afobe Benkovic and Pereria.
Highly unlikely for a decision like this to be made so soon, given how long it takes to come to any form of conclusion re FFP issues
I see that PNE manager has had his day today too.....

Interesting line from Nixon.
As Nixon says.....this is likely to get feisty!
Its right too - why should clubs save money by not paying their players and then be able to spend money on signing new players....

Never mind having already renewed for next season I would expect a full refund, as I doubt anybody will be allowed into games for a long time yet
Not likely as at some stage, the next season will be played - personally, I’m happy for the club to keep my money until “next” season starts

An article in the Daily Heil today has them as one of the clubs least likely to survive all this.
Have you got the link?

I really hope you are right, however I fear that is just another gross underestimation when it comes to what this virus is capable of.
The only proper way out I see at this stage is a vaccine.
I don’t disagree......
Also see that the Tour de France has just been rearranged to the 31st August too

Autumn 21 is being banded about by a lot of health experts at the moment. That includes big gigs, sporting fixtures, festivals etc.
The reality of that has only just hit me and it’s such a hard one to take. Not just from a footballing point of view, boxing felt like it was coming to an era defining year and now it may not recover for a very long time. Sport all across the board will be hit by this, some may never come back professionally again.
I personally think we will follow the French (our stats/timelines etc are very similar) ; start getting back to normal in 4 weeks time (schools reopening etc), no bars, pubs or restaurants until July and then festivals etc from mid-July.... They clearly don’t want to lose the summer holiday period and so are planning to be pretty much back to normal in three months time....
As others have said, the big unknown is whether there will be a second wave.....

We were supposed to be away to Oxford today and I know for a FACT that we would have taken at least that.

The way things are going we’ll be scrapping next season as well. Can’t see any competitive football being played until August 2021 at the earliest.
Reckon we will see the resumption of this season in July.....finishing in August with 20/21 season starting in October
