Wonder what Wells is thinking sat on that bench…
If I were a better player, I'd be starting?

Did you see the second flippin goal?
It doesn't matter about the detail of the second goal Red.
The fact is that a Championship side could not beat a Div 2 team.

Look, just admit you want him sacked instead of all these little digs that are dressed up as constructive. It'll make things easier for all of us.
Couldn't be farther from the truth.
I want him desperately to succeed but he needs to up his game somewhat.
I would not be happy with a 3 year plan which starts with 2 relegations.

The meltdown I’ve seen on social media is pathetic. Is it news to people that we have a poor squad that have picked up some terrible habits from Lee Johnson and subsequently Holden? This rubbish is not an overnight fix, we all know we lack goals and we are still trying to assert some defensive discipline into the side. Why is it a shock to then struggle to create chances and lose focus at the end of a match?
I’d like to have seen more progress on seeing out games and creating chances, but they’re issues that have plagued this squad for the last 18 months- 2 years. These will take time and money, the latter of which we don’t have, to fix. I’m not saying Pearson has been perfect or that these results have been acceptable, but **** me some people need to give their heads a wobble. This is the start of a long rebuild, accept the situation and have some patience.
Other new managers come in and at least stop the rot and get the players into the right mindset......then they start the rebuild.

NP will be pissed off if we go out now. With all our players this is an important competition!
He picked the flippin team!

I don't dare blame the management for this as it will cause so much incoming but FFS....basic stuff!

How long until the "Start Janneh up front vs Middlesbrough - he's the best striker at the club!" posts start?
To be honest he ain't got much competition!

Short trip up to Gloucestershire tonight for our first ever competitive game v. FGR.
Presumably the XI will see a few changes from Saturday with the opportunity to rotate a few players to keep it fresh. Kalas, surely, must start? As we know, a decent run in the league cup can do wonders for you if you can negotiate the early rounds successfully.
As it seems that the only way to keep up-to-date with the action from your armchair is Radio Bristol on the actual wireless (no TV coverage or internet radio) it's 94.9FM for me later, proper old skool.
FGR certainly feel like a club on the rise. They won on saturday and will surely challenge for the playoffs again this season? They're never short of publicity with Dale Vince as the owner.
I think it could be close. But we will prevail. 3-2 away win.
Isn't it sad that we are not even talking about the prospect of hammering a div 2 team and we recon it could be close.

We have to forget Promotion
We will get lots of bad results
Hope the manager knows what he is doing????
He has not shown much yet.....thought he may have done more... especially last season

Why?
Because as an experienced manager he should have changed the personnel and shape when they started to look like scoring

If we had a proper striker who can convert chances we may have put the game to bed in the first half.

Good half with a general dominance. It did feel like we're lacking a goalscoring striker, but then a striker scored!
Palmer and Weimann have shown both the good and bad of their play.
Scott has had a very encouraging game so far.
Don't want to belittle the goal but the marking was Div 1 at best

We have featured in the top division in this country for numerous seasons - or are you one who believes football began in 1992?!
Wake up and small the coffee....we are a disgrace. 1992 was 30 years ago!

Tbh it says alot about Bristol as a footballing city.
Top 10 sized city with one sh*te team and one poor team and never in the Prem..... pathetic.

He is DEVELOPING into a very good player. Still young and will eventually iron out the mistakes of inexperience. Stick with him and he will only get better.

Who on earth is Walker?
The piss take of Rovers is all very amusing but the fact is...if we played them right now they would probably beat us.

I would go 4 4 2 and have Semenyo replacing COD or Pato on the right or left of that midfield.
