  1. Can't disagree with that but I will just put in one caveat of we're losing to teams who have international players, some former Premier league teams. They are losing 6-1 to Accrington Stanley. We had a bad season and yes one bad season can see you relegated but given we had a bad season why not chuckle at the other side of bristol who thought they would challenge for promotion/play offs and ended up with relegation.
  2. You aren't allowed facts in gas logic plus you haven't accounted for the 10,000 fans that were locked out of the ground.
  3. Jesus H Christ I knew they were delusional but this is on a different level. Charlton, Luton and Wycombe (assuming these are the enemies I mean they did want to sue them for relegating them from League two) are the teams they are closest to but the others shouldn't even be involved in the conversation. I mean Fulham? A team who were last in a league below the championship in 98-99 who have spent a majority of the 2000's in the Premier League.
  4. I honestly forgot how good that goal actually was, even taking away the fact it relegated the sags it's a decent goal on the volley.
  5. I said it previously like 3-5 pages back I believe. I think they may struggle given the FFP rules means they have to reduce the wage bill and they signed quite a few players last year on multi year contracts. I don't think Jailbird will be able to rebuild much and it'll be a case of sign a striker and that's the budget gone.
  6. I mean FFP means they have to reduce their wage bill from 60% to 55% of their turnover and they are Rumoured to spend £3.2m a year on salaries. I honestly think that they may struggle next year. signed a lot of (not that good) players last summer on multi year contracts I doubt The jailbird will be allowed to make too many changes to the backroom or playing staff.
  7. The "great" leader said in an interview to Bristol Live he turned down the job in the first instance and it was Wael who brought him round to the idea of managing Da Famous Quaters
  8. Gasheads saying it was never a sending off. Looking at the video even without my rose tinted glasses it does look like his arm is across the throat of the Lincoln player. I would say the right call was made by the referee for the rovers player sent off. As for why the Lincoln players weren't sent off it looked like a shove to the chest by the player that comes in which isn't a red card offence and the player on the floor (who I assume was the other Lincoln player booked) doesn't do anything that is a red card offence.
  9. I'd rather have Wimbledon win then they are 6 points off Wigan with 4 games left.
  10. The championship is definitely missing your lot. I expect next season you'll probably mount a challenge. Paul Cook is very highly thought of on here (a lot of people myself included, wanted him as our new gaffer).
  11. The circus never stops oved there! But honestly I hope they do and he gets what's coming to him (in terms of calling others negligent). He complains about the training sessions on Fridays but his record for rovers is worse then Both his predecessors.
  12. Cockman no because he left on his own accord. But rovers are still potentially paying off Dopey Darrell (his contract runs out in June 2022). They are paying off Alf (June 2022) and Tisdale (June 2023). It'll be interesting to see what happens if Barton gets locked up in the summer. Did Wally include a clause in the contract? Or will they also be paying that off.
  13. I'd say they are historical rivals, yes they may not have challenged us for some time but if we ever played them you wouldn't just call it some other game. We're both aiming to be the #1 team in Bristol (hardly a debate at the moment) and aiming to be in the Premier league. That's a rivalry. Over the seasons our rivals on the pitch have been Cardiff and others but fans feelings about Cardiff won't be as strong as Rovers.
  14. Don't be daft. Gaslogic dictates that they'll sell more season tickets then us but they can't fit them all in the ground and some will be locked out.
  15. Their new stadium is light years ahead of the stadium that is tent city.
  16. You aren't allowed to talk facts it's all about the gas logic, there are 100m fans locked out of twitter who can't like that tweet from Barton so it's not fair to compare the 2.
  17. I wish him well at Sunderland, he helped us improve and was truly committed to this club. It didn't work out for one reason or another and he moved on. I thank him for everything he did for our club, put us in good standing, constantly improving positoon, that carabao Cup run beating Man Utd at Ashton Gate and giving Man City 2 really good games.
  18. What he means is "the toilets are connected to the sewage so at least the only shits in the ground are the ones playing in the famous quarters"
  19. I think it's more to do with other players not being able to control their laughter at having to play at a Circus rather then that lot chanting about us constantly but then also denying that we are always in their mind and that we are the delusional ones.
  20. City are in the Top 4 of the championship. Sags are in the Top 4 of League one... The Top 4 worst teams in league one.
  21. Have they claimed "unlucky da shit" and that they're coming for us since Agent T was announced?
  22. I wonder if I can get odds on coco the clown to be the new manager he'd fit right in with that circus.
  23. I expect Tisdale, out of work and local. Rovers won't pay for Duff or Flynn they don't have enough money for compensation as they've not been able to sell their flat Fanta this season. I don't think Cotts or LJ would go near them given their connection to us. I think they'll go for Robbie Fowler or keep it cheap and go for their head of recruitment who is caretaker. In an non related note you can't blame the weather much on the first and third goal what was he doing?
