I'm 30 first game my dad took me to was a derby which we won 2-0. But I don't think of them as a rival the gap has been there for pretty much most of my life and it's hard to see them as rivals I'm more concerned with Cardiff and Swansea then I am the 15ers. They are obsessed with us (singing songs about us, checking scores constantly etc) but it feels like we've moved on, we'll all have a chuckle about their misfortune but it's hard to think of them as a true rival anymore.

If marvel were the official sponsors would they still quash it? What about every other sponsor? They are technically advertising.

Going onto a point raised by @BTRFTG is there any evidence that derby have paid rent on the stadium? Or is it contained in accounts that aren't on companies House? Because surely if no rent has been paid that would incur an additional penalty?

So HMRC are a preferential creditor. I would imagine the MSD would probably be one of the main creditors as well. Cocu and Keogh will not get as much as they hoped I would imagine. Given the debt they have to HMRC and MSD and the fact that the stadium is NOT in the admin package any potential interested parties would surely think twice. I doubt they'll be able to renew the deals for Davies, Baldock at the lot as they were only agreed short term EFL deals. Derby have put themselves in the s**t trying to get around the rules has led them to this situation.

I really don't get it. Garner had a plan and it was always going to take time but the potential of it was huge, couple of players sell for 6 figures and suddenly everyone is laughing. The fact they hired Barton with no guarantee of continuing this plan just baffles me (as does the fact they hired him in the first place) yes you need to blend youth and experience together but relying on Pitman and Clarke to get you promoted is only going to end badly and there is no resale value. Barton has taken the club backwards.
