  1. Mark Ashton in so many ways reminds me of the Monorail salesman in the Simpsons
  2. it's actually a pretty good, competitive game now, if everton score next it's really going to be interesting... yep, I did think this is all us reacting based on a numpty commentator... haha
  3. haha... just after i've typed the above it is indeed 1-2....
  4. I mean, I'm not having a go at a fan's right to leave whenever they want, but Liverpool are playing v well this year, Everton not so much... why turn up and then leave after 20 mins when the inevitable happens, what did they expect?? Also, Everton could nick a goal before HT the way this is going... If Holloway was in charge I don't think I'd have renewed by ST
  5. I have a few Everton supporting fans, and have to agree, the anger and moaning is ridiculous. It must be rubbish being in the Prem each year, safe from relegation but in no danger of winning a cup of qualifying for Europe, but FFS, they have it better than a lot of football fans!
  6. But surely if SL sold Bristol Sport he'd most likely make back most, if not all of, his investment?
  7. Any guarantee that he could get our squad performing better than at present? No. Any chance he could have them playing any worse than at present? Very unlikely!
  8. that's probably done it - wow
  9. going to the last few deliveries...
  10. yep, getting worried. mills injured too
  11. WI having a complete shocker this WC... one trick pony
  12. fair enough, just what i read on bbc.
  13. He's the first to do so whilst still playing though, isn't he? Others did so after retiring.
  14. ha - i've agreed with each of those 3 teams skimming down the thread!
  15. why why pick poulter and rory together again? aaargh hoping we can scrape a 10-6, but even then, it's a hell of an ask tomorrow!!! haha - just saw this after my post - couldn't agree more!
  16. i do fear a bit of a drubbing here, these young 'rookie' americans don't have the experience of losing! only a few of the european team really seem on the same level today...
  17. Just made it back home... i enjoyed that today, decent game, could have nicked it but could also have lost. Massengo looked class. Definitely missed a bit of poise up front, and King didn't have his best game, but after last season, clear, clear improvement.
  18. last time i saw us in a pen shootout was at wembley, and david moyes missed the last pen for us. v mansfield?
  19. doubt that'll matter to our football team but another enjoyable game
  20. watching the Bears is just a joy this season. Truly a crazy game, and the football fan in me will despair if we win the league but lose the playoffs!!
  21. Delta you sound like the kind of man who could start an argument in an empty room - I'd suggest trotting off and focussing on your "big boy rivalries" Staggered as to why you're even quoting Fordy - stating that Villa would like the season cancelled is pretty obvious, nothing to do with being "rivals" God I wish the pubs would open again.
