  1. Was that intentional? if so it's very witty.
  2. I now won't be able to get that awful picture out of my mind (and yes I know I shouldn't know what this is really is meant to mean ).
  3. It seems to have masochistic tendencies is a definite plus for City supporters.
  4. 10 man Lincoln increased their lead to 5-0 .
  5. 2 games ago Lincoln scored 5, in their last game 6, and they are currently after 24 minutes 3-0 up against the gas what's the betting on 7 up this time?
  6. What are you watching .
  7. I prefer Gas losing .
  8. What? we're going to score winning goals in the 100th minute.
  9. That's the chance you take, I used to be a season ticket holder for 35 years until my wife had health problems but I still get a membership as I can usually make some of the games plus as you found out there are suddenly a lot more "supporters" when we get a glamour tie, plus if ever we were to suddenly look like getting promoted having a membership would mean a good chance of being able to secure a season ticket for the following season, it's almost worth buying one for that reason alone. I for one wouldn't want to miss out as I have been waiting 44 years and counting for us to return, it's frightening when I say it like that.
  10. If you are going to go for more than 5 games then membership is worth it as you save £5 a game and it's £25, plus you get 5% off purchases in the bar and outlets.
  11. What's reasonable about an increase that is more than double the current (if you believe that inflation rate)? it's attitudes like yours which embolden companies to think they can get away with it, well if the number of people that didn't bother turning up for the Swansea game is anything to go by then they are in for a bit of a shock, personally with what has mostly been served up the last two seasons they have got a bl**dy cheek 10% my ar8e.
  12. Ah! I see, sorry for the confusion.
  13. we are playing at WBA on Saturday, and Birmingham are at home to Watford.
  14. Seriously 3 wins!! I would suspect if we lost every game now we might still stay up, you have a lot more faith in the bottom three than even their own supporters have.
  15. If other results continue to go our way like they have and we get a win tomorrow I think we can banish all talk of being sucked into a relegation battle.
  16. Defence, unless you are from North America of course.
  17. By cohesive I mean in the pattern of play I thought for long periods against Ipswich we played well as a team and looked to have a good gameplan, the same against Southampton that is the most frustrating thing such good bits followed by dross, and as for the arguing I have seen Man City players arguing with each other it happens a lot, maybe it shows the players are as disappointed as us and actually care.
  18. It was a bit of an unnecessary mess wasn't it, there does seem to be a common denominator in all this and I'm not sure if just changing the manager will ever improve it, I just wish there was less negativity towards Mannings's appointment as he hasn't exactly had a lot of luck as far as injuries and recruitment have gone, I also agree we were not told the real reason Pearson was sacked personally I think it was a combination of poor results, his overall health, and of course him calling a Spade a Spade.
  19. I have said on another post-NP did not get particularly good results, now how much of that was down to reducing the wage bill getting rid of the dead wood etc I don't know. I have come in for some stick for even daring to point that out, he was working under some constraints but the way he is mourned on here anyone would think we had been successful and entertaining under his management, well I must have missed that part, as you have pointed out Manning seems to be on a hiding to nothing what frustrates me most is good results and performances followed by disappointment. I personally can see some improvement overall the team look more cohesive but again we have the curse of Bristol City with injuries which have impacted our progress, all this harking back to the "good old days" under Pearson is getting us nowhere.
  20. Is your keyboard missing its C?
  21. I know that, but we were winning with 15 to go and up till then I thought the game was evenly matched, we ultimately only actually lost it in the last few minutes of normal time. A draw would have been a fairer result based on the game I watched, which is a result few expected as a thrashing was mentioned in a fair few posts.
  22. The last 20 is pushing it, 10 I will give you.
