I don't think the other results below us could have been much worse for us today, not a good day to lose at home.

If you had said to me after we beat Southampton 3-1 that we would be looking over our shoulders now I would not have believed you. I'm not confident especially when I see our upcoming fixtures it would be just like us wouldn't it?

Didn't Cotterill do a similar thing with the bench, and we all know how that turned out.

Unless the bottom 3 start playing like Man City we are definitely NOT in a relegation battle ....... this season. though having just looked at the table if Stoke win today we will be only 6 points from the bottom 3 and with the fixtures we have coming up and City being City well who knows.

But we were still mid-table when he was sacked 13th, though the omens weren't good. It's pure speculation to say we would have gone down if we had not appointed NP though.

We did not play well on Saturday nobody could argue against that, but we were very good against West Ham and Nottingham Forest had great results against Middlesboro and outplayed Southampton, so what does that say? well, we all know that on our day we are a match for most teams in this league but have too many off days just like under Pearson really.
