Without wishing to be too gloomy I think next seasons top 3 are all but decided already with Southampton , Leeds, Everton , Forest or West Ham coming down . Certainly feels like the strongest 3 relegated sides for years and add in the millions they’ll each be given to “ cover the losses of relegation/ spend on £10m players “ , Cardiff, BCFC etc improving will sadly be pretty irrelevant ?

Had a season ticket with my eldest lad for almost 15 years but he’s now settled down with his girlfriend and living elsewhere in the Uk . Miss the regularity but going on your own isn’t much fun . Pick my games and try different areas of the stadium these days but that’s life .

Final day fixture is Huddersfield Vs Reading . Now that really could be squeaky bum time !!! Rotherham are away to Wigan so could quite easily Nick the points there and Huddersfield’s game in hand is against Sheff Utd . Could be a hell of a day at the bottom of the champ on Monday week !!

Been watching a lot of Tv footy of late whilst recovering from a broken ankle and was surprised to see Millwall’s starting 11 for the last 2 games with them still in with a shout of the Prem next season . In both games I saw , they started & finished without a single black or Asian player on the pitch . All other London clubs had between 5 & 9 players who were Black or Asian on the pitch over their last 2 games .The area in and around Millwall is 61 % Black or Asian . So what’s the issue here ? It surely couldn’t be the club themselves instigating this so is it that Black and Asian players just give that club the biggest swerve possible . If so , how on Earth could they survive in the Prem with pitiful gates and a massive pool of talent visibly steering well clear , presumably for reasons engrained over many decades ?

Let’s face it . Scott is now 3 games away from becoming a multi millionaire and a Premier league player . He’s just come back from an injury and the club have put him up for auction to an extent never seen at Ashtongate before . Would you throw yourself into every tackle and jeopardise all that if it was you ? Not a chance and it’s churlish of NP to expect it . As for Conway , he’s Alex’ best mate and perhaps a little bit of it has rubbed off so he’s more deserving of a b@@@@@@@@g !

We kept going against a team that played a 9-0-1 formation and picked them off eventually. They even tried to defend a 1 goal deficit for 1/2 hour and in recent seasons we’d have gone home miserable !!

I know we’ve had a bit of fun over the years with this thread but “The Gap” is getting narrower by the second now and I for one am getting just a tad concerned . They are now just 13 league positions below us in the proverbial pyramid ! If we played them next week I would not be confident of a win and they are closer to our league position now than we are to Milwall !!! We may take the pish out of their crowds and stadium but they could end up in the Championship next season , horrifyingly at our expense !!!!!
