Cheers helped Seinfeld massively in 1993. Seinfeld became a mainstream hit after it moved from Wednesday night to Thursday night in Feb '93. Then I believe Seinfeld repeats aired after Cheers repeats in the summer, and then of course Seinfeld took the 9pm timeslot in the 1993/94 season when Cheers ended. I'm sure Jerry Seinfeld thanked Ted Danson for Seinfeld's success ?

I think seasons 3-5 of Seinfeld is comedy gold, as good as it gets really. Up there with any sitcom in history.

Curb is great, but Seinfeld is better in my opinion. George Costanza is the best character of all time. Jason Alexander played him magnificently well. Just a superb cast with brilliant supporting characters, and the writing is amazing as well.

Not sure I would believe anything greedy belly and Frank Warren say tbh. I also think it's unfair to say Usyk isn't a big draw. He played a big part in the AJ fights and drew more PPVs when he fought Chisora than greedy belly did.

Sad news about Kirstie Alley. I thought she was great in Cheers, and played a big part in why it stayed so consistent for so long. Cheers would have got stale had Shelley Long stayed and Kirstie didn't replace her.
