  1. Ah @Bristol Rob, but you don't know my name or where I'm from………..oh, hang on though ?
  2. Not until they’ve thwown him to the floor, mind ?
  3. Thanks for that. My dad contracted it and shook a seven. Mum and I had to watch him pass away in hospital via Skype as we weren’t allowed in. Your confidence fills me with............. I refuse to engage any further with a *****.
  4. Am I correct in recalling that the 'old' club shop used to stock subtle BCFC ties? Tried to buy one online before heading to the Riverside but had no joy. If anyone can find a source (I can't) i'd appreciate a link.
  5. As the great man himself once said, "Grimsby Telegraph……Print that bastard" ? ?
  6. Ah, 1973, Barclays Bank in Dursley, Burroughs TC500. The banks were just starting to go 'computerised' so any counting errors I made, I would just say that it was a computer error and the customers fell for it every time! As this is the BRFC dustbin thread, I'm happy to get back on topic………………B011ux2em.
  7. I no longer do the red wine @Red Bill. Last time I supped a bottle of that stuff, I found myself toasting the signing of Nicky Hunt as the answer to all of our problems! ? If I must do the grape these days, it has to be a bottle of Verdejo from Consum
  8. Could tonight be the night for TB to shine? I think so. Another cerveza please Mrs. Jacko ...........the first five are having an effect ?
  9. Mental note to self……. buyer beware when looking for the next Mrs Jacko on 'those' websites, then ? ??
  10. I had a meeting at a small development site on Feeder Road last week. I must say, I'm well impressed with the stadium development that's going on at the Fruit Market. They've kept disruption and inconvenience to the local businesses and residents to an absolute minimum. I'm minded to recommend the stadium developers for the Considerate Contractors scheme. One would hardly know that they're knocking up a massive sports venue. Flawless and non-intrusive drinks all round, I say. ? ? ?
  11. Yup, this is the one…………best €1.50 that can be invested in the Campillo local.
  12. Can't remember the last time we won at the Gate, but I think this was the kit we sported at the time!
  13. At last……..! https://www.shutterstock.com/video/clip-34884166-munich-wild-baboon-monkeys-running-away
  14. I can remember Yeovil coming up to Worcester City en masse in the very early 80's for what was probably a Gola League game, during my spell at St George's Lane. They all appeared to be heavily armed with sticks of celery. Odd lot imo.
  15. Bloke took the lace out twice there. It was a clear handball even from bloody Spain!
  16. And another one who suffered English Lit for his GCE’s, eh.
  17. Parked up about an hour away from the ground. Just booked a driveway parking spot a minute from the stadium. The old knees don’t cope with your grim British weather too well these days, so a short hobble back to the car after the game and then get me to the sunshine! Thanks for the match preview @Jerseybean COYR ?
  18. And that's still going swimmingly well. Can't wait to visit the location - I'm running low on broccoli………...??
  19. That timescale is still achievable...............according to his very nice watch
  20. 'HMS PissTheLeague' is adrift, and the current Cap'n has done his absolute best to deliver on his pledge to get those tw4ts out of League 1. Now Gash, go **** yourselves ?
  21. But they've got 5 games left. 5 wins gives them 15 more points, taking them to a grand total of 71 points* for the season. Upper mid-table finish in my book. *courtesy of Gashmatics
  22. I tried to listen to the 'game' on Talk Sport 2 whilst driving down from the North this afternoon. I gave it my best shot but had to eventually switch to Radio 4 Extra as the commentary left me completely perplexed. No matter what names the commentator was saying had possession of the football, I just didn't have a clue as to which team they played for. Totally impossible to enjoy for me, mind. ?
  23. just to backup your reasoning here @Eddie Hitler I've just looked up the first round attendance figures for the 2013 Tinpot Trophy, Southern Section (South-West Group). Exeter 0-2 Wycombe. 1654 Cheltenham 3-3 Plymouth. 1236 Torquay 0-0 Portsmouth. 1951 Bristol City 2-1 Bristol Nomarks. 17888 You've nailed it my friend. ?
