A penalty, against the Rovers surely not?
And just denied a clear one for themselves. Pompey's was debatable. Great stuff.

Pen Pompey. 2-1
Rovers have been 2nd best all game, should of been down to 10 in the 1st half, then score with their only shot on target.
Play up Pompey!

I think he's probably a better player now than he's even been. Really mastered his own game. Covers so much ground and contributes no matter what's asked of him.

I'm glad he said it after a fine win, it's not sour grapes, we've all seen it.

Classic HNM tonight. Must be a pain in the arse to play against. He's constantly pressing and getting stuck in.
A fine pass to help setup the goal as well.

Probably one of the most progressive performances under NP. Needs to be the benchmark going forwards this season.

You could make a case for many tonight. I really don't think i could single someone out. Even the subs were on it. Great to be able to say that.

Lots to discuss there, let the threads commence!
In short right now, Nige will be delighted i reckon.

If anyone needs a strean tonight...

Scott and Massengo played very well together away at Preston last season against experienced opposite numbers. Hopefully more of that tonight.

Certainly scores goals doesn’t he?
"The ball is sprayed out to the right and Palmer-Holden, who has been a real handful since his introduction, bends a brilliant effort into the top corner.
It's an equally sensational celebration to boot as he tries a gambol down by the corner flag."
Good goal and the all important gambol at the corner flag!

Naismith winner please. 97th min if possible.

When quite a few times as a kid. Loved it. One year a friend of the family got us into the corporate hospitality and they had a spare boat there you could get in. Honestly, i've seen more convincing entries on Red Bull soap box race and this thing went over 100mph!
Not the exact boat but you may remember the sponsor and colours if you did go.

Rainbow 6, Destiny 2 (base game is free to play), Borderlands 3, Wolfeinstein 2, Metro Exodus. Warzone not my thing but very good for free. Latest Battlefield game BF2042 is a bit ropey but i've still enjoyed it.
Red Dead 2 is superb but certainly not an FPS. Plenty of shooting, action and things to do but it's all 3rd person.

Ugly game in draining conditions. Still a point away from home is good, even more so as it's our first this season.

No justice at all, thats a clear red.

Just reading the article on the OS when he signed, nearly 6 years ago to the day. We had a busy summer...
"Engvall becomes City’s 12th first team recruit of the summer, following on from Josh Brownhill, Gary O’Neil, Diego De Girolamo, Lee Tomlin, Hörður Magnússon, Callum O’Dowda, Ivan Lucic, Tammy Abraham, Adam Matthews, Taylor Moore and Jamie Paterson. The club has also recruited youngsters Jack Challis, Kodi Lyons-Foster and Shabazz Omofe for the development group."

A good run can generate a few quid. Matty Taylor covered his transfer fee with one assist (not £10m!).
Is it still a route into Europe?

I'm still a proud owner of a few Fungus the Bogeyman books. Loved those as a kid.
Can't forget When the Wind Blows either. Powerful stuff.

Press Conference was a bit feisty.
Nige visibly pissed off throughout and not happy.
No Williams
Tanner has to play his way back (least that's what I thought could here)
No Defenders in Midfield nor elsewhere
No signings imminent.
Possible departures
Not happy with defence so far
Lots of rawr shouty stuff.
Yelp!
Certainly a prickly one from Nige.
Not impressed by the ground change or much else right now!
Wish they'd give the journos a mic though, can barely hear the questions. Judging by the responses there were a lot of stupid questions a la SOD.

If Barton doesn't moan about the ref post match then I'm the Pope.
He'll forget he let their player stay on with a yellow for a bad tackle that had the lad going off on oxygen and straight to the hospital.
They played like a side from the league below. Gonna be a long season, they look 5 or 6 players short of the standard.
