Overall at this level, Naismith is pretty solid, however both he and Vyner are subject to lapses of concentration. That cannot de denied.
So far, Sunderland, Blackpool and Huddersfield.I thought we looked too vulnerable last night down the right hand side, but I don’t think anyone really stood out. That said, Atkinson continues to impress and seems to get better deeper into the games.

Thought not.....

Good day everyone, short and sweet from me today as i am attending a trade fair in Jakarta.
So, here we go again then. Wigan Athletic, the last club to be voted into the Football League in 1978 replacing Southport after a second round of voting.
City today? Who knows? Frankly I am tired, i just feel very tired and unmotivated to write anything meaningful and for that I apologise.
A big salute to the supporters to stick by our club through thick and thin; I wish I was more stoic about the whole affair.
UTC, as always.
The Jarkatan equivalent of "the Bird" to the Board of Directors....

I've still got some feeling towards it all. Going down would break my heart. Many times Michelle Keegan has in my dreams. But this is the real world. The disturbing and sickening thought in my mind is having Johnson still in charge next season. Which seems unambiguously concrete, that there my friend is pure torment for any city fan.
Something is not right at this club, it stinks. It's had that ambience for well over 10 years now. My first finger of blame was actually towards Louis Carey, I honestly believed he was having some big say in the dressing room to disturb the atmosphere within. He retired, we went on to get promoted with a very tight group of players, each with great character, and all in sync together.
However, evidently it is not him (Apologies Louis). I honestly believe now SL tries to interfere within team matters, hence why both SC's were out the door. Coppell could see the BS, Cotterill wouldn't be a yes man with Lansdown. And now, Johnson is the perfect yes man. Yes Steve, sure thing Steve, how many sugars Steve?
The rot really is at the heart of the club. (The man who pumps the money)
Love you......xxxxx

Spot on with your comments there fella.
Bobby Reid... dear lord. I don't want to launch into a critical attack of him... but my god man. You were absoloute pants today!
OddBallJim, we like the Spice Girls.....when two become One....
spot on again with your view and agree also with Der No. 2.
The problem is this.....
When players don't know if they are coming or going, because quite frankly their Manager doesn't have a scoobie, and one bad game sees them out for 4 weeks, they have no confidence and end up trying to just play for their place and not the team. Also shite when they come back in a different position !
So...No management equals no team play and no confidence ....

Are you me?
You've literally summed up my exact feelings, post-match and post-LJ's terrible interview.
OddBallJim.....fancy applying as a joint Manager with me ?
I just wish LJ could come and sit in the stands once in while to get a true perspective of his "game plan" ...
-
So, according to LJ, the fans were booing the result and not him and the players ?
Really ? You really must be on a different planet to those of us at the game.
OK, good first 10 minutes and good last 10 minutes, but pretty clueless otherwise. The players may be trying, but there is no cohesion, no awareness of each other on the pitch, but more importantly....no leadership, no width, no pace on the flanks and most importantly - no strategy to try and win the game. That my friends come from the touch line and has been lacking all season.
All LJ seems capable of is trying to chuck a different set of players on the pitch every week in the hope that something may work. That is plan A, with no plan B.
Sadly I am resigned to Relegation with this Manager.....sigh.....and it seems SL is too....

If we run to form, I predict taking a 2-0 lead, followed by 40 minutes of backing off, and defending so deep, that by the end of the game we have all 10 men actually in the car park behind the stands.
OK men from Burton....shoot at will ....the blighters are on the run.......again !
Just a thought......
Maybe LJ should just tell the team not to change ends at half time ??
hmmmmmmm.........

I don’t think you will get anything other than agreement here. Even Lady WellSpokenMan thought it was a backward step. Her Ladyship even uttered an expletive, heavens forbid, when Mr Wells was substituted for him.
A great shame really. I thought that overall we were by far the better team and actually had one of the best displays of the season. Good game management by the Blades to see it out, although incredibly frustrating to watch and suffer.
Hey ho…back to fireside and a single Malt, and dreaming of those goals we should have scored
