Big bump I know, but... I'm assuming this isn't happening? Kenilworth Road was recently added (far too late) but no sign of Ashton Gate.

Jim R cutting costs is one thing but it seems the club have been cutting costs for years or rather spending it in the wrong areas. One example of many being that c@nt Antony bought for 80+ Million but not spending anything on a leaky roof. Laughable. ETH is a fraud as well and I hope he stays at OT for as long as possible.

I'm never one to defend the 'top' clubs (or their fanbases, about whom I completely agree with you), but I am passionately against bad faith actors owning football clubs and I think your post contradicts itself. The Man Utd fans are not at fault for the Glazers'/board's decision to completely neglect their stadium, in favour of signing shite players, and the effects of this were proved on the weekend. They are awful owners and the club's demise comes from the top down I think.

Smarmy businessman who either cannot, or just refuses to, level with the traditionally (though of course not exclusively) working class fans of the sport he works in. Seems the type who might have a mirror above his bed to watch himself in the action.

Fairly effective operator with a decent record of success compared to a number of others in his position within the sport. Resided over the most successful period in Ipswich's recent history as well as our best league finish for a decade.

Nothing particular to add that hasn't already been said, but wanted to say this has been a fascinating read of a thread. And I echo the overarching sentiment re the way clubs pay staff.

A friend of mine is currently working as a recruitment analyst for a championship club alongside studying a MSc in Sports Performance - it sounds like very hard work for in his case, no pay.

I was at the game. Think Farm deserved the win but definitely wasn't one for the ages... weather didn't help either. Still, great to get out and support - proper football!

The young chap who scored the winner for United looks something special. Irrespective of how crap they are he has started 8 games in a row at 18 and scored a brilliant goal (link for those who haven't seen it).

Too soon to say for sure but England have a number of talented young midfielders coming through the ranks.

Hasn’t this happened multiple times at the Gate over the years? I’m sure I remembered both Johnsons doing so, though I may be misremembering. Certainly not something I would attribute to Jurgen Klopp.
