  1. Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I am looking to buy the new England away shirt but I'm not going to spend £85.

I looked through this thread and saw DHGate recommended but whenever I go on their site, it is completely empty, and all of the ebay listings linked have been taken down.

Does anyone have any up to date suggestions or links?

    Thanks

You’re dead right, it says it all if Pickford is our No.1, there’s a reason why he doesn’t play for a top club

Pickford is one of the best goalkeepers around. He gets so much undeserved hatred and very rarely puts a foot wrong for club and country.

2nd for clean sheets in the prem this season for a bottom half side says it all I think...

I would have thought so. Wharton at Palace could be the wild card.

I find anyone who puts Ipswich top 6, with their squad how it is, absolute fantasy. Ashton beef aside. The only people who should think it are giddy Ipswich fans themselves.

They had a huge wobble in league one at the turn of the year, genuinely don’t have any players that are too good for the level, and are coming into a very tough league.

Love the NTT20 boys, but having them above the likes of Boro and Sunderland is absolute nonsense imo based on nothing other than being starry eyed blind over a manager.

This has aged like Milk 🤣.

In all fairness I thought exactly the same.

  5. I've always thought the reason for it was to stop this happening again...

Has anyone ever taken their shirt off to celebrate, ran around like a lunatic waving it above their head but have another identical shirt on underneath to try beating the system?

Feel like that would be a mildly amusing celebration but surely been done already.

Can't find the video but yes, David Odonkor did this when playing for Dortmund. Gave his shirt to a supporter in a wheelchair, and still got a yellow for his troubles, despite having an identical one underneath...

  6. Went to his first Bristol ride last summer. Was great fun.

Also seen him live a few times as he's from my hometown (High Wycombe).

He started off during lockdown by getting his daily exercise on a modified bike with DJ decks attached to the front - it's just grown from there.

  7. Been on holiday so missed the Boro and Southampton games. Come home to this shite.

God sometimes I despise this football club. Think only Max and Conway come away from this with any credit. Poor poor poor poor poor.

And what makes it worse is that I absolutely knew this was going to happen. Said to my boss yesterday to not let the previous 2 games influence his weekend bet and city have proved me right again.

It literally says this on that link

No other TfL services will be on strike but some bus, DLR, London Overground and Elizabeth line services will be busier and affected by station closures where stations also serve London Underground lines. One-way or queueing systems may also be in place.

    Ahh right.

I have to say I was under the impression that the Elizabeth Line was an underground line, hence the confusion. Still a pain in the ass as it goes nowhere near where I need to get to.

There have been some before me and will be many after me but looking for two adult tickets for the game. Me and my dad are both members who live near London and I am happy to pay for ticket postage. Thanks

Just got hold of two through the OS so no longer needed. They are still popping up on there!

Like him. No idea why he was dropped. Not sure there was any need to shout in the keepers face when he earned the pen. Not sure if there was previous between them but not a great look.

Read somewhere that it was due to the keeper's reaction from the first penalty appeal.
