Definitely move on from retro as it is a trend that has now run its course; I say this as someone with an extensive collection of old City shirts! Plus the next ones to revive would be the Sanderson era of kits and they look crap.

I like the away kit being black with purple and lime features; that one we had in 15/16 is a future classic.

I didn't get the 15/16 away kit at the time and now I really regret it. Love that kit but can't find one for sale in my size anywhere.

The first team were based in Teddington before the South Africa game, no idea where they are this week before travelling to play France next weekend in the opening WC fixture

Very feasible they are at the HPC training this week

The All Blacks first team were training at Adidas Headquarters in Germany

  3. Not by any means suggesting he should have made this squad but how many more England squads will there be before we see Scott's name on the list?

A matter of when, not if, in my opinion.

Would be class to see him tear it up this season and make next year's euros squad, although I think that will be slightly too soon.

Well, this has rattled some cages!!

All I would say is that the most important (by far) element of the football club to me - is - the football team. That's who I cheer for, cry for and support through thick and thin.

With that and only that in mind, the team look no closer to reaching the top flight than when SL took over.

Many players, a fair number of managers and many years on from the (single),  very clearly stated personal mission, to get Bristol City into the top flight of English football.I

I can sympathise with anyone who feels a bit let down.

I was thinking this last night in regards to TGH loan move - it says a deal was "option to buy included" but who has the final say on this?

For example, if he has a successful year and City decide to activate the pre agreed amount (apparently 1.3 million) do West Brom still have to agree to the deal, or is it solely up to City whether we continue with the pre agreed deal?

I believe it is completely our choice if we wish to exercise it.

  6. I think the only player we have actually replaced with an equivalent or better alternative in the past 5 years is Flint with Webster, and we only had Webster for a season before he moved on and left another hole.

All of the other 'Top 6' capable players we have had have not properly been replaced. We looked lost when Brownhill left, Reid, Bryan and Semenyo were all significantly better than their replacements imo.

And now we have the best player I have seen in a city shirt to replace, I'm not sure people realize how much of a hit losing Scott is going to be.

So no, I don't think our recruitment is as good as we think...

  8. I've muted them on twitter as their posts annoy me more than they should and I know that by taking the bait I'm giving them the interactions they are fishing for.

I thought I was rid of them after that. It appears OTIB has made sure that was not the case,,,
