  1. A young kid that has brought together millions of people, stood up to the established “grey heads” and spoke so eloquently. She has told the uncomfortable truths that need to be said, which is why so many belittle her. That makes her a hero in my book tbh
  2. The very fact you don’t think Greta is a hero says a lot.
  3. Eating meat is the biggest contributor to global warming. Cutting back your consumption by 50% would have a real Effect if we all did it. I’m not there yet, but trying
  4. More than you buddy. She is a hero. I’m afraid you are a pedantic simpleton.
  5. You are clearly stupid. Can you not interpret simple datasets? It’s very obvious the trend we are on. FFS so frustrating.
  6. Newsflash: It needs to be rammed down your throat or you grandkids are going to roast. So, nothing out of the ordinary is frankly not good enough
  7. Well - anyone belittling Greta Thunberg so glibly is clearly short sighted. What you have achieved counts for nothing if you dismiss the greatest challenge the world is facing. Feel free to call me out on my punctuation because that’s clearly more important…
  8. That’s a really useful input to the discussion. Predictably pedantic but it adds zero to the debate
  9. It’s only forgotten about if you are stupid. What personal changes have you made in your life to combat climate change? Anything?
  10. Seems to me the person being manipulated here is you if you are in denial of climate change. We need a few billion extra Greta’s and less deniers like you.
  11. Who is replacing stokes then? Phil salt? That’s either a 500 in 50 overs team or 180 all out
  12. 100% agree. 120% actually. However the problem is the poorest in the world will get shat on, as usual, as resources become rarer and consequently more expensive. As the poor are in huge numbers they will reject the policies needed to make the changes required. The only logical thing to do is to redistribute wealth to make everyone more even so we are all on the same journey. Unfortunately our political system is incompatible with that. The majority grey heads will **** it up for the younger generations. You can even see it today on some threads on OTIB how they refuse to even believe in climate change. *******.
  13. Has to be. Morgan was a great captain. Even when his batting was crap he was worthy of a place due to his leadership.
  14. Just had a shower here, and there is a bit of a breeze. Cooling down thank F...
  15. Temperature is lower here today then yesterday, but it feels hotter. Im like a wet rag.
  16. On meat free days i often have a curry, containing chickpeas that have quite a lot of protein. Ive tried meat substitutes, but not really found anything that appealing. There was one meat free burger that was tasty, made from pea protein i believe, but it really smells weird - although admittedly that could be due to Covid after effects - still my smell/taste is off
  17. I don't know what to say to be honest. The unfortunate truth is there are probably millions like you - climate change deniers, who, despite tonnes of evidence still have their heads up their arse. Thankfully you are in a minority
  18. I have toast / cereal for brekkie. Generally miss lunch and then on meat free days there are loads of options. Curry’s are the best bet and also stir fry’s.
  19. So true. It’s very scary but people just laugh it off. We can all do our bit of we try - I’m down to 3 meat free days a week and that would make a huge difference if all of the west did it. It’s not even hard.
  20. I know it makes me an enemy of the environment but I jumped in the car earlier just for the Aircon. Horrible heat
  21. McIlory is gonna regret this big time if he doesnt win. What a round from the Aussie
  22. I’m not sure Walking makes you blind has ever been an official govt public message
  23. I’ll be honest here : The All Blacks have lost their fear factor that used to give them a lead in the game before it even kicked off. Of course you can never rule them out, but right now they are 4th favourites for the WC.
  24. Great defensive effort by England. Some huge tackles
