  1. It’s only forgotten about if you are stupid. What personal changes have you made in your life to combat climate change? Anything?
  2. Seems to me the person being manipulated here is you if you are in denial of climate change. We need a few billion extra Greta’s and less deniers like you.
  3. Who is replacing stokes then? Phil salt? That’s either a 500 in 50 overs team or 180 all out
  4. 100% agree. 120% actually. However the problem is the poorest in the world will get shat on, as usual, as resources become rarer and consequently more expensive. As the poor are in huge numbers they will reject the policies needed to make the changes required. The only logical thing to do is to redistribute wealth to make everyone more even so we are all on the same journey. Unfortunately our political system is incompatible with that. The majority grey heads will **** it up for the younger generations. You can even see it today on some threads on OTIB how they refuse to even believe in climate change. *******.
  5. Has to be. Morgan was a great captain. Even when his batting was crap he was worthy of a place due to his leadership.
  6. Just had a shower here, and there is a bit of a breeze. Cooling down thank F...
  7. Temperature is lower here today then yesterday, but it feels hotter. Im like a wet rag.
  8. On meat free days i often have a curry, containing chickpeas that have quite a lot of protein. Ive tried meat substitutes, but not really found anything that appealing. There was one meat free burger that was tasty, made from pea protein i believe, but it really smells weird - although admittedly that could be due to Covid after effects - still my smell/taste is off
  9. I don't know what to say to be honest. The unfortunate truth is there are probably millions like you - climate change deniers, who, despite tonnes of evidence still have their heads up their arse. Thankfully you are in a minority
  10. I have toast / cereal for brekkie. Generally miss lunch and then on meat free days there are loads of options. Curry’s are the best bet and also stir fry’s.
  11. So true. It’s very scary but people just laugh it off. We can all do our bit of we try - I’m down to 3 meat free days a week and that would make a huge difference if all of the west did it. It’s not even hard.
  12. I know it makes me an enemy of the environment but I jumped in the car earlier just for the Aircon. Horrible heat
  13. McIlory is gonna regret this big time if he doesnt win. What a round from the Aussie
  14. I’m not sure Walking makes you blind has ever been an official govt public message
  15. I’ll be honest here : The All Blacks have lost their fear factor that used to give them a lead in the game before it even kicked off. Of course you can never rule them out, but right now they are 4th favourites for the WC.
  16. Great defensive effort by England. Some huge tackles
  17. Been saying this for ages. Amazing display from Ireland - one of the best I’ve seen tbh. On that form the WC is in reach.
  18. When does the Dolman reach the end of its life? Of course it was updated during the last refit, but its essentially the original stand.
  19. To be fair to get close to 250 is not bad considering the top half
  20. Your comments on this subject, could have been copied/pasted out of this.
  21. Im just defending the current generation from whiners who continually pick on them and portray them in a bad way. If you get all spikey being called out, then that's your problem.
  22. Yep. Back in our day bollocks. Actually it goes like this: Back in our day houses were 4 x our salary. Back in our day we had defined benefit pensions. Back in our day we planned to retire at 57. Back in our day we had free University education. Back in our day everyone got Child benefit. Back in our day fuel and energy were both cheap. Of course this is a one sided view - however the total lack of acknowledgment from the boomer generation that modern life is hard for young adults is blind to reality. Yet all we hear is the young are entitled. **** off
  23. You are forever mentioning what it’s like these days- how people now are entitled, bad up bringing and yet conveniently forgetting the past. In the past we lived with riots, football hooliganism and an openly racist society. Even in this thread people have given you examples, in the past, of trouble they witnessed at cricket games. It’s not a modern day phenomenon it’s just nostalgia on your behalf.
