Bloke was unconscious on the pitch, and the physios ran on before the ref blew, and some were taking the piss. Unbelievable. Very sad to hear his career is over, and im glad the club are looking after him.

On this topic, I think we need to wait for NB to speak. It’s tragic any career is cut short due to injury. It’s highly personal and given the nature of the injury - very sensitive. He got a fair bit of shit on here for being a sick note but he always put in a shift. A real warrior. Wish the bloke all the best

Agree re Carragher. Should have been sacked - he is not a great pundit anyway. I know the banter between him and G Neville is popular, but i find his scouse whine annoying. Le Tissier is a basket case.

What system do you think he would work in, and why? The “raw” talent of KP is a myth i reckon. Loads of clubs, lots of opportunities and delivered very little. Now it’s the system that’s the problem - nah- he is just not very good and got lucky with his contract pay as he was ex Chelsea.

You are right to point out he has failed pretty much everywhere, possibly the exception being the Huddersfield promotion season. Most of the comments about him don’t seem to question his attitude. We can all debate whether he is lazy or not but I’ve not seen any negative comments about his attitude. He could just not be good enough

You do realise it's a squad game now? You have multiple players per position. To suggest HNM is a fringe player is a bit odd. If he stays, which is unlikely, he would of course play games. I for one understand the club needs the money, but id love to watch HNM develop at AG. I think he is the real deal
