The issue I have with this thread is a staff member of the club has been called out individually for doing a bad job in one posters opinion. He has even been named. That’s not cool IMHO. Far better to criticise the role / job title than the actual name of the person. These are real people who read stuff and it effects them. All for a few internet points - utterly pathetic tbh The organisational structure of the club is under review and change, and yes it needs too - but don’t have a pop at individuals “stuck” in roles they didn’t sign up to.

If you want a dirty lunch go to lowandslowbarbeque- Pulled pork, brisket etc with sides. Don’t over order but delish. It’s “fast” food btw but worth it

@Harry I know Sean personally well. He admits he is snowed under and the infrastructure around him his not right. However your OP comes off as very critical of him. He is a local lad- went to school in Posset and is a true red.

Well, he has left Newcastle virtually debt free, and when they got relegated he coughed up his own money to pay the wages, and they came straight back up. Had they not been promoted it could have been another Sunderland. I don't think his management of the club was as bad as some portray. A lot of the dislike from him was the "cockney mafia" stuff. He doesn't have a good public image either but i take your points about the stadium and training ground.

I know Ashley comes off as a knob, but he kept Newcastle stable. When Newcastle fans moan about him, what they are really saying is he didnt spend his personal fortune on the club. Its the same argument you get on here from some about our own SL.

I manage the ME In my job. KSA is a well run country nowadays and opening up. To suggest they on a par with Iraq etc is ignorance.
