Last night they played 3 at the back with their wing backs being Ciaron Brown and Mark McGuinness who are also centre backs by trade. Plus Vaulks and Pack in the middle of the park, who are not exactly attacking players. No wonder the fans are going mad.

I can honestly say that was the best feeling I’ve had coming out of the gate in a very long time. We looked so committed against a team better than us. Joe Williams was very good - if he stays fit and plays like that consistently alongside Matty James we will actually have a midfield. Add to that HNM, a solid defence and options up front - I feel excited for the first time in ages. COYR

Worth remembering that the miracle of Medinha Europe went into the final day 10 - 6 behind. If we “win” the day today we still have a chance but it’s not looking good. The US look too strong.
