I really don’t get Sam Bell, if he wasn’t Mickey’s son there would be outrage. Such a poorly positioned player IMO, I really don’t think he is at the level.
most overrated player we have

@Harry different definitions of key passes I guess.
The fee!
We’re obviously in a position to spend that sort of money so it shouldn’t bother us. No one even knows the exact fee or if it’s even happening atm. At least we’re actually willing to pay some fees now if true and show some ambition.

A player that plays in the number 10 position, creates loads of chances and also has scored very good goals over the years. Why are people against it?

A loan would be stupid, we have zero chance of winning the play-offs and very very unlikely to finish top 6.
If it was a permanent deal for around £3mil in this window or the summer then fair play, but a loan in January (when we must assume we would be paying a fair wedge for it considering Burnley would be recalling him from Hull) then wow……we all know Tinnion is absolutely clueless (as his awful stint back in 2004/2005 shown) but this would seem a dumb way of using some of the finances that the club worked so hard on sorting over the past 3 years.
You’ve just got to hope that if it is true then the buy option isn’t the 5 mill reported. You would think the people involved in the dealings know that 5 mill is too much. I think a 3 mill option is fair

doesn’t he have to be recalled by tonight in order for it to happen?
-
Where does it actually say he’s coming? The comment on hulls forum says ‘supposedly’ and also ‘if so.’ Doesn’t sound like it’s confirmed
-
Surely someone coming in soon

I’m really not fussed about this one either way.
Think there are better deals out there personally.
I think he’d be perfect for us. And a free kick taker which in my opinion we haven’t had a proper specialist since Paterson.

Couldn’t agree more.
This would be our 4th highest fee paid, at a time when making top six would be a real stretch.
Far more logical to spend in the summer when you don’t get pressured by the madness of the January window.
Also it is surely worth us looking outside the UK to get better value when we do?
Didn’t Nixon say he’d cost around 2 million? Imo he’d be worth that.

Yet they have no parachute money and get less at home than we do. That’s a stunning signing at this level
Tbf tho, if they don’t go up this season they have to replace most of their attacking players.

Carvalho is an insane signing. But don’t worry, our squad is truly what a top 6 squad looks like.
A front four of Carvalho, Tufan, Philogene with Delap/Connolly up top. If they aren’t top 6 this season then it’s a joke. We’re miles off competing with that imo.

Carvalho going Hull. Hopefully means we get twine now

It’s our away kit

Probably take a point. They were trying everything not to lose. Also emphasises the need to signing abit more quality attacking wise as manning has referred to. Dickie MOTM again

Hopefully just Wells coming in for Conway. Apart from that wouldn’t change the rest of the side

Anyone know why James is on the bench? Always see him as one of it not the first name on the first XI team sheet personally.
Because we have a game on Friday. Just rotation over a busy period. Would’ve liked to see Wells start today however good side. Take a point

Mehmeti could be like a new signing now after this goal. Could tell the change in confidence as soon as that goal went in. Hope he has a proper run now

The reason for this is that both Bell and Tanner are poor footballers. Personally I’ve never got the hype with these 2.

If I had a choice on current form (at least 6 weeks) I'd choose Cornick over Sam Bell any day of the week. Not sure what position is Sam's best. Not a winger, not a CF and currently it's like playing with 10 men.
Up top for a team up the downs. Tanner to join him aswell
-
Shame he’s surrounded by Tanner and O’Leary

Tbf the plan to change pearson was probably coming. He could hardly walk and wasn’t that active in regards to training etc. But has been very poor so far. A lot more possession, but leaking goals far too easily and don’t look like scoring at all

mate really,we looked way better front line since he came on,puts himself about aswell
U really think so? As much as I’d like for him to do well he’s really not that good is he. Expectations are so low. He’s not a player that comes on and you think he looks like scoring. Bringing off Sykes and Knight killed us

Agree, this is a topic about twine, shouldn’t be about anything else
