Gerry Gow facing off with Frankie Prince
Been looking for that photo in colour( without the writing) but no joy. There is colour photos of that game around, as I have one of Gary Collier.

I've never been able to find videos or photos of Chester, and I've tried .
I have a couple of photos on the Laptop but I doubt they would be any good to blow up.
The Garland header on the line would be great, but quality is poor. The other two are available on Alamy , not cheap, though could be good enough quality to print at a decent size.
I’ve printed and framed the Cheesley one, not bad quality really. of I could get a decent copy of the Garland one, that would go up, likewise the Donawa goal.
Weird that there’s nothing from that Chester game. Also trying to find one of Mardons goal at Forest, with no luck. I spoke to Chris Honor, thinking he might have something, but unfortunately he had all his memorabilia ruined by a flood in his loft!

I’m looking for photos and pictures of iconic City games, to frame and put in my bar. Preferably when we won a big game or trophy( yeah I know!)
One in particular I’m looking for, is the promotion game at Chester in 84. I remember seeing a photo in the Evening Post at the time, of the pitch invasion at the final whistle. I’ve scrolled the internet, but can’t find any of that game.
Any help would be appreciated. Also what other iconic game do you suggest? Preferably with crowd scenes involved as well.

I played with Darren as well at Fair Furlong, his dad managed us. Amazing really that I played with all these players and ended up shite!
I’m glad you said it

There have been a lot more reports than just some bloke on twitter, more than enough imo to say it'll be a surprise if they don't sign.
These reports might well be right, but we hear enough rumours every year, that turn out to be bollocks! In the case of Bryan, I would suggest he falls into the unlikely category, just on wages alone. I hope not, as he would be a quality signing.

We've known for some time Bryan and McCrorie are very likely signings so the surprise now would be if they don't sign.
Tinman said we'd be looking to sign experienced but still young lower league players, and interestingly these 2 and O'Brien don't fit the bill so presumably we're aiming to sign several lower league improvers as well.
Who says they’re likely signings? Some bloke on Twitter? We hear it every year, xyz is signing, how often are they right? When I hear it from Pearson, Tinnion, Lansdown or the player themselves, I might start believing.

I was there. Planned work trip in Yorkshire to coincide.
Was one of the best performances I’ve seen. What surprised me, was the fact that we did not fill the away end that night. But glad I was there to witness that performance by City. What a team Cotts created.
Yeah, only 900 there. Thought it was a poor turn out for such a big game.

Not what the rules say, it say's your arm has to be in an unnatural position.
He’s moved his hand towards the ball, he knows exactly what he’s doing. Most defenders would do the same mind!

If the ball hadn't hit his arm it would have hit his body.
But it did hit his hand, so it’s handball!

Unless you are Man Utd at Old Trafford apparently.
I can’t stand United, but, are you seriously trying to say it wasn’t handball?

We’ve only got a small squad at the moment. Williams and Kalas going off , disrupted the side completely. Scott had to play deeper, Pring had to go central. We haven’t got like for like to come on. I thought we had the better possession , without creating much.

Looked at all options. Train almost 6 hours, flight to Edinburgh tonight was a bit of a rush and still got to get train to Newcastle, driving, **** that!
Ive cancelled the lot, just gonna lose £29 on the match ticket. Don’t love City that much to **** about with all that travelling!!

They don't need to if you hold a ticket for the block you are entering. That is sufficient.
It's not really a life threatening assault on your human rights. Simply someone on minimum wage doing their best to try to ensure you don't have to deal with a bunch occupying the seats you have bought with your mates.
Literally the point of reserved seating. Along with the option for unreserved seating in S82 for those that want it.
You said they do it so no one sits in your seat. I sit right at the front of upper B block and every game they create a queue by asking for your ticket at the entrance of E33,( this was before the exodus to A block). There’s a woman( I think) and a few other bouncers/ security, that constantly stare at you throughout the game, looking for a reaction. They pulled a couple of people out last night for no reason whatsoever. It’s Wigan at home on a ******* Wednesday night ffs!
Anyway, they see us every week, and I make a point of talking to them as I go out to the toilet( 4 times first half, 4 times second half!). I even offered them sweets last night, to which the woman scowled. Last night I came up the next vomitory and the woman was genuinely pissy that I evaded her. They need to get a ******* life!!!!!

Not sure why the need to give verbals to our own stewards when they are trying to make sure you dont find someone else in your seat.
So they watch what seat you go to after they’ve checked your ticket do they?

It was like that up until about a month ago, now numerous checks before you get to your seat, then constantly monitored by a woman steward who continually gets the heavies in if she hasn't checked your ticket!
She’s ******* nuts! She was determined to get someone thrown out last night!

The stewards were jobsworths as usual, but what’s the obsession with singing “I can’t read, I can’t write…” over and over again?
Probably because they can’t!!!

What you won't see from this angle, but was clear from the live feed, is that Evans stamps on the back of Alex's leg.
Fair enough, only had a bit of video to go on, obviously missed the stamp.

Am I the only one not seeing a lot in this? Ok, it was a sending off, but is it really that violent. Looks more of a grab than a punch.

Only 3 and the little one at the end been on sell so far
Their stadium plan is showing blocks P26, P28,P32,P34, and P36 all sold out. With 30 remaining in P30 and 36 in P38. Don’t know how many each block holds though, I haven’t been. But 1000 behind the goal doesn’t sound a lot.

Yeah I’ve got the paper pull out of that, along with the 76 promotion amongst others. I know I’ve seen the Chester pitch invasion somewhere , or did I ? I’m ******* 60 now, so could be chatting bollocks!
