That is definitely not the case, we lost to the two best teams in the league and nearly beat Forest had it not been for our psychological issues. We nearly beat Blackpool and should have drawn with Millwall. So much self pity amongst the fan base at the moment!

I think there’s a difference semantically between “Bristol City legend” and “legend of a bloke”, the latter relates more to him as an individual which is I think what Pete meant. I don’t think anyone is saying that he’s a Bristol City legend but he was universally liked and probably underrated by a lot on here for what he achieved.

Best of luck to him still think his “Cider With” episode is one of the best ones OSIB has done. Wish him all the best

Wasn’t particularly happy with our away fans at the metro station after the game today, some of them squaring up to the WBA fans and some punches thrown despite families being stood nearby. The people involved barely had half a brain cell combined unfortunately.

Sorry if this question has already been answered in the thread, but I was wondering - is there no FFP equivalent in the premier league which will cap Newcastle’s ability to spend or do they have carte blanche to spend what they want and basically build a team of Galacticos from scratch?
