On the bright side, at least we don’t support Nottingham Forest

Can’t log back into Robins TV. Maybe it’s a blessing

That long throw needs to get in the bin. It completely derails our momentum every time we get in their half and leaves us open on the counter. You’ve literally got Kalas on the wing and Baker stood on their touch line and the throw is barely past the half way line. Absolutely ridiculous

I rarely get angry watching City but I’m genuinely fuming at that first half. Utter shit

Would I have taken a clean sheet before the game? Yes
Would I have taken a draw before the game? No
Who wouldn’t take a clean sheet before any game in fairness

The standard of corners in this game has been atrocious from both sides!
-
Yet another through ball through the defence like a knife through butter. That’s three now!
-
We look so fragile against any counterattack.
-
Our defence looks vulnerable to through balls, they got in twice in the first five minutes where we looked a bit static.

To give us more attacking threat down our left side I would argue but there you go.
Call me old school but I am beginning to subscribe to the mindset that defenders should defend and attackers should attack. It sounds ridiculous but we have shipped too many goals this season and Dasilva always gets exploited by diagonals due to his height. I wouldn’t even mind us converting Dasilva into a winger to be honest!

I do think a team is a reflection of their manager. Under LJ we were a small team often technically good but equally often bullied against the big teams. Under Pearson we are much more aggressive and physical and whilst we may be more direct I actually find it much more pleasing on the eye than the constant sidewards passes we were subjected to

Another enjoyable game to watch. It is such a change . Cardiff are a real handful, but we are doing our work. They have had some good chances but we are fighting hard. When we go forward we look like we can pull them apart at any time. What I also note this season is that it is hard to pick out poor performances in the side, everyone is doing their bit. Not a hope City are going to be anywhere near a relegation battle with the application we now have. So good to see the players playing as a team and working for each other.
We are men this year whereas last year it look like we were watching a kids team play in the wrong league

Be happy once the old regime of players have gone:
Vyner
COD
Weimann
Palmer
Martin
Moore
Wells
Feel like the rot is too deep and needs a full change.
So basically all our players?

Doesn’t exactly inspire confidence in the strength of our squad unfortunately. I remember in our semi final season we won the first game 5-0....

Sadly though, if he’s asked to leave that will probably reduce his value.
You’d have to question in that case why NP decided to disclose this in his presser, other than to perhaps trigger a bidding war well before the transfer window shuts?

I was watching the game today thinking that NP has a propensity to prefer bigger “harder” characters who are going to be physical and aggressive. This view was affirmed further by his decision to pick Martin over Wells. Nagy is unfortunately a more cultured, diminutive type of player. Perhaps he saw the writing on the wall and decided to bolt back to Europe where he wouldn’t feel as homesick

It’s an improvement, but only to the extent that a colonoscopy might be considered an improvement to, say, losing an arm.
