  1. Should be hung drawn and quartered! Anything less is a travesty for throwing a plastic bottle!
  2. Was it right? No. But you can’t expect the players to continually let the fans down and not expect things to get toxic. The ground was rocking after the penalty save, for all the waffle from the players that the atmosphere makes the difference they collapsed yet again and didn’t look bothered. Patience is wearing thin now. The Huddersfield players were goading s82 as well which added fuel to the fire. I’m certainly not condoning it, but I also understand it. I’m sure the fans should’ve got a petition together to let the players know they were really cross at them as some on here would do. Again, it’s out of order but if you seriously didn’t expect the fan base to take things too far after another spineless performance you’re delusional.
  3. Yeah it's run its course for me. Don't get the issue with Bolasie, will always be in my good books for that goal against Coventry, and he left nearly a decade ago anyway.
  4. Agree, think Bakinson and Vyner have similar problems in their games, don’t think either have a long term future at the club. Vyner would have options but still wouldn’t do anything. Can remember one point in the second half where Scott passed the ball back to him, Vyner had the option of switching the ball out wide, passing to the side to Kalas, passing to Massengo or passing back to Scott. He chose to do none of them until a derby player was right in front him where he panicked and over hit a pass out of play.
  5. I thought he lacked urgency on the ball yesterday. Would get the ball from a midfielder and instead of releasing it quickly would dawdle, assess his options and end up under pressure. He's fine in the short term in a back 3. Not convinced he's a championship standard player.
  6. Spot on. He'll flourish in a side that plays good football. Would be nice to see him having more attacking freedom where he can press from the front and turn the ball over quickly, but that doesn't suit the rest of the squad. Think he'll go back to France and do well.
  7. They're exceptions, rather than the rule. The "experienced head" signings have consistently failed since promotion.
  8. At this point it's more about results than performances. With the amount of injuries we've got we just need to keep away from the bottom three. I'd love for us to play pretty, expansive football but frankly we just need points even if they're smash and grab. We lack quality and depth, unfortunately I don't think it's realistic to expect decent football until our "first-choice" side is back. I know some rate our squad players but they're the same ones who've failed to perform for years now. Our (extremely) long-term goal of promotion/challenging for top 6 won't be achieved with the majority of the current squad.
  9. £7 is a joke but the goat curry is quality. Only reason I've been going recently.
  10. Does he? He won't touch the championship once he leaves City. Agree, he needs a massive turnaround to have a long term future at the club. Think he'll have a good career in League One.

Why would the club cancel it because of a leak? If there’s a press conference there’s something to say, regardless of whether people know it’s coming. “We’ll have to cancel the announcement of Pearson stepping down as some people on Twitter heard we’re having a press conference”

In fairness being 'proven' and struggling with the long term effects of Covid aren't really linked.

I do as well. Very uninspiring set of options available to us and think we're in trouble this season.

Not for the long term though, or rather if he is appointed for the long term we're in trouble.

No idea who we bring in now.
  16. Not moving for Twine seems like madness to me. Wages must be minimal and there’s no real downside to bringing him in, just to probably be an Alex Scott level of player and if he can earn a spot in the side the better. In fairness the culture at the club surely needs changing, so bringing in the older Leicester guys would make more sense in the short term.
  17. Go back to 4-4-1-1. Bring in at least one winger in January. Considering we've used it for 5 years or so the squad look clueless in a 3-5-2, just pump the ball up the pitch to watch it come straight back. Our best passages of play yesterday came from playing the ball around with short passes in triangles. Focus on keeping the ball on the floor would be a good start.
  18. We're still yet to properly replace Brownhill, Webster, Eliasson and Reid so would have those 4 back in a heartbeat. Lloyd Kelly is a good shout, I'd choose between him or Wilbraham (at his best). We are crying out for Eliasson, complete madness to not replace him at the time but everyone was dead set on 3-5-2 so it went under the radar. Wouldn't touch Bryan with a barge pole. Not good enough at Left Back, regularly gives away goals as he did for Fulham in the prem as well as us and Eliasson had more to his game on the wing.
  19. If we’re still playing like this in a month or two, yes, but it’s not happening. Not convinced he’d come.
  20. I've got my doubts now. That was turgid and there was very little response from the dugout until we were 3-0 down. It was obvious long balls and crosses from deep weren't working at half time. We continued with them in the second half. We had no creativity in the 3-5-2 and were crying out for Alex Scott. He came on at 3-0 down. I think the problems run deeper than Pearson, and I'm not sure if we can afford to get rid of him or if there's anyone out there to bring in, but he has to take responsibility tonight.
  21. Zak Vyner isn’t good enough. Seen enough now. Really strange decisions from Pearson. Would’ve like to have seen Scott at 1-0 down as we had no creativity whatsoever.
  22. Go back to the 4 back. Got absolutely no creativity in the 3-5-2.
  23. Marty James looks miles off the pace, far too slow on and off the ball. Need to stop the long ball football and stop trying to cross it onto Martin’s head from 40 yards out. Birmingham’s defence dealing with everything in the air easily.
  24. Definitely. It was much easier for JET to stand out in League One because his technique was genuinely at least one league above everyone else on the pitch, which covered for the holes in his game. In the championship the skill gap narrowed and suddenly his lack of mobility and work rate caught up with him more. I'd certainly rather have JET in League One, but in the championship I think Palmer is more effective.
