The social media team has some nonsensical award to win. There would have been way more fanfare for the new shirt than just putting it in this announcement with no reference to it.

Think that's very kind to Brunt and harsh on King. King's been solid enough when he's played he just isn't up to a full season of championship football, but then again he wasn't brought in to play that much. Brunt on the other hand was off the pace every time he stepped on the pitch and couldn't handle nearly as much game time as King.

Had that opinion for a few years now in relation to match day pricing. Surely we'd sell considerably more tickets if they weren't nearly £40 and there would be additional match day revenue at the bar/club shop?

Easier said than done. Heard that about Reid, Bryan, Webster, Brownhill, Kelly etc. Reid is the only one we adequately replaced, and that was with an academy player.

How would confidence effect someone's ability to run? To not fall asleep with marking? Him getting bullied in the air can be attributed to a lack of confidence, but a lot of his faults are down to either a lack of awareness or a lack of desire. Either way, it's not good enough.

Sorry, but by that logic every single footballer in the pro game has enough desire as they made it through an academy and earned a contract? That's simply not true. Once Vyner gets beat he spends half the time jogging back watching the team concede, or gets caught napping when marking a player.

Not watching the game but seeing a lot of people blaming Vyner for the goals. Any truth in this or is it scapegoating?

I get where you’re coming from, he’s been performing to this standard for a relatively short period of time and we need to see this quality over a longer period to understand his potential fully. I think some of the talk around Semenyo is premature, nothing to do with the player simply down to performances turning around in the last few months. If he keeps it up for the rest of the season then I’ll be fully convinced. That being said, quoting his goal record is ridiculous. A lot of those appearances will have been off the bench or in a poor side and certainly weren’t up front. The point about assists is valid but he was in a poor team that was struggling across the board. It’s a big ask for a young player to come in and deliver in the championship. Just because he didn’t do so at age 20 doesn’t mean his upturn in form at 21 is a flash in the pan, players just develop at different rates. Talk of playing for England by some posters is ridiculous mind. It’s way too early to have an inclination of that and it’s only going to put additional pressure on him. Just enjoy watching an exciting youngster, don’t put him on a pedestal.

Also got to consider the teams each player is part of. Mitrovic going mental with that Fulham team is much less of a feat than Semenyo’s performances with our team around him!

Think it's fair enough according to the rules of the game. They're both bookable offences. As others have said, a yellow is meant to be a caution. Think the "better" refereeing would have been a yellow and a strong word in the ear basically saying next one and you're gone. Martinelli and Arsenal can have no complaints mind.

It's been a problem for at least 2 years and isn't limited to their performances at City, Kalas for all his strengths is equally inept at defending a cross on international duty as he is in the championship.

Definitely. But if we were to go to a back 4 I'd rather Vyner play full back than have him in the middle. Damage limitation and allows Kalas to start forming a partnership with Klose.

He’s pretty solid in most aspects of the game but doesn’t justify his wage.

He's claimed he played in every position on the pitch at some point in his City career, was before my time though so don't know.
