Alan was a great bloke. I have many happy memories of away days in the 90's with him. Always good humoured, never had a harsh word to say about anyone. A top, top man. Sleep well mate.

Im sure, i saw mark gavin score somewhere up north, possibly his debut.
Think that was very early on.
Anyone recall that?
I'm sure Gillingham away Gavin scored on his debut within the first couple of minutes

There are some pikeys complaining about this because they don’t think 20,000 is big enough….

This ref is the complete opposite of the guy on Wednesday v Stoke. I know the ref on Wednesday want perfect (far from it) but I'd take him over this ****t every day of the week.

I think we have a bit of an inferiority complex/paranoia when it comes to pundits, I’m sure they don’t all hate us!!!
I don't think Jobi McAnuff has been too hard on us in the past.

No which would have made sense. Wolves, West Brom and Walsall in a similar area
I seem to remember Goodman him having a right battle (fight) with Andy Llewellyn at the Hawthornes in the early 90s. Fiesty bugger was Goodman

Debut match City v Mansfield Town in February 1987. I think Steve McLaren made his city debut? City lost 2-1. I'm guessing, but probably earliest city debut would have been Andy Llewellyn or Rob Newman?
