  1. City two points behind Millwall with a game in hand. Next up Burnley away, Millwall away to Shef.Utd next who are 20 points clear in the Northern section.
  2. Sending off for Ipswich. Still 2-1. Wiles-Richards on the score sheet....o.g.
  3. Stats from Flashscore; Possession City 40% Boro 60% Xg City 3.36 Boro 1.59 Shots at goal City 16 Boro 10 Shots on goal City 7 Boro 4 I get the disappointment at losing a two goal lead, but the game itself was one of the best this season imo against probably the best attacking side at AG this season. Good result imo and several positives came out of that game as well, not least the performance of Cornick.
  4. WTF is Dasilva doing this half, he's having a mare. Statue like.
  5. To be fair, one of the blue few phoned into 20mans show last night specifically to say how the club and local media were misrepresenting the stadium situation. He said it was typical Rovers, shouting about a new stadium and supporters lapping it up. Him and 20man were spot on in saying nothing at all has happened re a stadium, just that the developer has a 12 month option to explore options. It is no closer today than it was 3 or 4 years ago when all this was first mooted.
  6. I'm ignoring the first 20 minutes as every player was guilty of appalling decision making and, as a team, they couldn't put more than one pass together. After that time it got better. So thats what I'm basing my ratings on - 25 minutes onwards. O'Leary 7 - Very good, distribution excellent, couple of saves Tanner 7 - Had a good game, growing into a very solid championship right back and can deliver a decent cross Vyner 7 - Solid game, great header for his goal Pring 7.5 - Didn't put a foot wrong, brought the ball out well in the second half, took no prisoners, close to MoM Dasilva 7.5 - Probably his best game for months, made a couple of Stoke players look like mugs with his footwork, close to MoM Taylor Clarke 5 -Only on the pitch for 20 minutes but he'll learn from that and come back stronger, he needed to come off injury or no injury James 7 - Mature performance as always and bossed it in midfield second half with King Weimann 7 - Influential second half, unlucky with the offside goal but lovely turn and pass for the winner Bell - 7.5 Great game, ran himself into the ground, defended well and gave their defence a torrid time, close to MoM Conway 6 - Unfortunate that he had to come off at half time, he would have enjoyed that second half Wells 6.5 - He should have buried that one on one, but gave 100% and assisted the winning goal Cornick 7 - He had a very good game when he came on, impressed by him, looks a bit unconventional but was very effective today King 8- Made all the difference when he came on, calmed things down and got us passing, impressive performance MoM for me Mehmeti 7 - He had an effective game, showed a bit of naivety at times, but had them worried and got the winner Feel free to pull apart etc..
  7. I think Bell is a better option wide left than Mehmeti at this time. Defenders know exactly what to expect from Mehmeti, he'll keep it at his feet and cut inside, its a bit predictable although he has very quick feet and it can sometimes come off.. With Bell, he will knock a ball past a defender and beat him for pace - he had a very good game today which will give him a lot of confidence. Both have great potential and a pre-season could see both excelling next season.
  8. Have you tried Teletext, its the latest thing.
  9. Aiden Baldwin at Notts. Thought he could carve out a league career after leaving City, first saw him against Bitton in a pre-season a few years ago and been looking out for him. May yet get into the EFL with Notts. Hope they make it above Wrexham.
  10. Burnley promoted with 7 games to go. Great achievement by them.
  11. For me, notable mention for Jay Dasilva, but it has to be Andy King. As soon as he came on, the game changed in our favour. OTC will learn from that game, and I believe he has a big future with us and I really like him as a player, but he needed to go off injury or not. Really impressive from King today.
  12. Southampton, Bournemouth, Forest to go down. But I'd like to see Everton , West Ham, and Leeds relegated, six great games for next season.
  13. I thought Mehmeti was wasteful and his decision making poor, and with the predictability of him cutting inside it'll make him quite easy to mark when playing decent teams. I'd give him a few games centrally now, behind a front two. If he stays wide left, maybe Pring at left back will help him, I hope so as he's been flattering to deceive so far. All very well showing a few tricks now and then which gets people up off their seats, but he has to start delivering some end product. Weimann and Wells were shocking today which didn't help.
  14. I was going to delete that post but forgot - I counted 12 in your team (counted Taylor-Clarke as two) after a quick scan
  15. Reading last six away games; P6 W0 D0 L6 For 1 Against 14 Pts0 Our last 6 at home; P6 W4 D2 L0 For 10 Against 4 Pts14 0-3 it is then.
  16. Sounds about right to me. Where else could Wrexham get that sort of investment at that cost ?
  17. In the case of Ipswich, I just wonder where a lot of that money ended up. I have no idea myself, but others may have their opinions.
  18. The refereeing is shocking, but even they could see the problem with that line up..
