  1. Rovers seem to be crawling to a slow death at the moment, the division will have its Portsmouth's and Sunderland's who are hamstrung by the weight of their own fans expectations, but have greater resorses, plus the perennial yo yo clubs like Barnsley forming an orderly queue at the top. I'm not sure why Wael bought the club if he wasn't going to invest meaningful amounts, perhaps he was let down by investors, I don't know. Strange.
  2. Ooh, half a dozen angry gasheads pointing at a skip, sign me up..
  3. I hear that mate, this ain't a sport where sentiment has any place, as for dedication, it's made the careers of many fighters, a time and a place I suppose. A gym-rat like Quigg could be an absolute monster at his weight but as age catches up, it's time to say "that's it"..
  4. It's plain to see Quigg doesn't punch hard enough to keep Carroll off him. Stortz, all I can say is he ain't Reg Gutterige..
  5. Funnily enough they weren't this sanctimonious when Katy Taylor was losing every round in NY.
  6. No one going for Quigg, interesting..
  7. It can be a cruel game sometimes, the leftie was pulling away and would have won on Points anyway..
  8. There's not alot between these two..
  9. Alright mate.. FM bambi on ice, weird.
  10. Quigg v Carroll, nice Britain v Ireland clash...
  11. Beating Baaaath, always a feel good moment for Bris fans, reminds me of the AG game with Conteponi and Pichot.
  12. Sadly everything Yafai did Gonzalez did a bit better. Harris fraught well v Martinez despite Maklin stating that Julio Cesar made mistakes being caught square when he's built his career by fighting in a square stance and won all but three rounds...
  13. That must rank alongside David Haye's toe as a crappiest excuse there's been. He could have said his hand got hurt or there was sickness in the camp in the lead up to the fight. I don't think Wilder could turn the third fight down financially, which is a shame as a summer fight with AJ would be fantastic, even though it would probably be in the States due to Furys TV contract.
  14. Must have been great mate, Tyson took his big right away and left him confused and beaten.
  15. Wilder will let the dust settle and will take the rematch as Fury said "its too big financially not to take".
  16. It's a hard one to call as I've watched the Debate on BT and the concensus ranged from Furys dad saying hell win by KO To Haye who has spared with Wilder saying hell win inside the distance. I think you have to start from the end of the first fight which Fury would have won if he wasn't put on his back near the end. Why was he knocked down? Fatigued, or he didn't see it coming, (like Naz Wilder throws punches from wierd angles) if he is this monster puncher, sooner or later hell catch up with Tyson, if it's early he could finish it but near the end he might not have the gas and end up in trouble himself. For Fury the best scenario is a late stoppage or more lightly, a points decision.
  17. Tough call to be a death bowler in T20. S'pose that's why they're paid the big bucks
  18. They must have thought they've had it in the bag till it was too late. There should be a much better display tomorrow.
  19. Not good was it, let's hope its ring rust.
  20. England win the toss and will field first...
