I’m no great LJ fan (that league cup run aside) but that’s not quite accurate in my view. He did do reasonably well at Sunderland for a time and won the JPT. Not great for a club of their size perhaps but was their first Wembley win and trophy for years.

Pretty sure he will end up at Yeovil at some point!

Agreed I think Yeovil too at some stage, Fleetwood job never looked an appropriate fit.

See the above by @Countryfile, what @Never to the dark sidementions isn't what was originally announced

The five games he mentioned were going to be spread over the weekend slots and not all at 1230, with those not shown live being the seven Saturday afternoon 3pm games

Can't see them all being at 12.30, as above I thought they were to be spread over the Fri to Monday period, from a Sky customers prospective all at the same time would be rubbish (bar there Opening Day Boxing Day etc plan)..

Well it isn’t, Brentford/Brighton etc being obvious examples of the ‘big data’ models. Our problem is we’ve always been shit at using it effectively.

Agreed it makes sense to me, no problem at all, love to be like Brent or Brighton..

I wouldn`t worry mate, it`s not going to be on TV so Saturday or Sunday for sure. The TV ones are pretty nailed on - Arsenal v Liverpool, Sunderland v Newcastle, Wigan v Man Utd and a couple of lower league at home ones.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was a Sunday, seems to be lots of ties in London in the 3rd round..

Excellent and balanced analysis @Harry. He could be good, but it seems like he will need to adapt unless it’s a complete rebuild of the squad.

This appointment could be peak Lansdown.  I.e. opposing the complete philosophy of the prior coaching team and less than ideal fit of players we currently have.

Good job we have a nest egg. And patience.

Quite like the concept of an appointment like this or Luke Williams but I can see us short term dangerously treading water in the division as players are changed and systems are adapted too... all a bit unnecessary compared to letting NP continue his project...

'One Nigel Pearson' would do. But LOUD and for the whole 90 minutes.

Agreed,  this should be sung with passion tonight as a strong show of support especially with what Nige is going through personally.

Needs knocking down and rebuilt as well....

Agreed, only then will away fans be rehoused in my opinion...a few years off though until the Sporting Quarter is built and settled in...sure there's a provisional plan for the stand somewhere...

Called it almost a year ago. Can see this happening now. He won’t get another football league job.

With his Hearts connections Hibs was a ridiculous move like McLeish going to Villa or Benitez to Everton or Pulis coming to City can definitely see Yeovil but probably not yet ...he should go to League One and rebuild his career properly.

Bournemouth have zero potential and will be plummeting down the leagues in the next few years.

It worries me that city show even less ambition. Once again City and its players kick the fans in the teeth.

Disagree,  I think Bournemouth will continue to surprise teams next year and keep moving forward, totally understand the move chance to play and impress at Prem level...

The queue for the new donut outlet, former tea/coffee outlet in the Lansdown was huge, one of the longest I’ve seen at an outlet.

Did anyone here try something from them? And was there anything besides doughnuts?

Funny queue was quiet when I got there but only 4 donuts left so must have been busy !  only saw the donuts fiver for coffee and donut ...my kind of pre match meal !
