  1. My point was Kane is a better player, which he is. Haaland might beat him in raw finishing and positional awareness but nothing else. You put Harry Kane in that Man city team he does just as well, if not better imo. And even though it has no actual relevance to a players ability suggesting Kane has “bottled it” on every big occasion is a moot point when Haaland has done the same. Haaland has played in 2 UCL semi-final legs, UCL final, Fa Cup final, Fa Cup Semi-Final, 2 Community shields and a Super Cup Final. All supposed big games. 8 Games 0 goals. Fun fact for you: In the entirety of Man city’s Fa Cup run last season, Haaland scored the same amount of goals in the tournament as Sam Bell.
  2. That is the poorest argument to determine an individuals quality i’ve ever seen. If anything it adds to the argument that Kane is better. In just last season, Kane had 30 league goals for spurs. A team who finished 8th, played with 3 different managers, one of which actively spoke down on the club whilst in charge. Haaland scored 36 (only 6 more) goals last season, 7 being penalties, in arguably one of the best sides in premier league history. By your logic Marc Albrighton is a better player then Heung-Min Son because he won the premier league and FA Cup with Leicester. An argument can be made that Haaland is a better goal scorer but he is no where near as good a footballer.

    Twine

Wouldn’t be surprised. 26 G/As in a pretty average team (goal scoring wise) in the championship alone will turn heads, especially at only 23. Add to the fact he’s got the maturity/game intelligence of someone with more experience and the technicals to go along with it he will be head hunted come summer imo, especially if plymouth go down. Could see him going to any of the teams vying for auto-promotion. Wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up at a lower league prem side either. Eze/Olise replacement at palace maybe?
  4. Gives me Adeluken/Garita vibes this one. I did like the look of him in the short amount of time he’s played tbh, just very clear he’s low on confidence + doesn’t know his teammates well enough.
  5. So can they only do half time subs now? (or Extra time obviously)
  6. How many subs in the Youth cup? 3 or 5?
  7. Absolute heritage city this! Feel for them.
  8. Yep, Swansea would’ve been the deal breaker for me. Even though we performed horribly we still got over the line. I haven’t a clue about the FrA managerial market however, so probably tougher for me to call for a sacking without knowing who would come in to replace him. Good to see him showing some tactically flexibility today and the ability to string some results together. Not out of the woods yet but at least he’s making steps in that direction. Based on who we play in our last 6, he needs to hit at least 60 and preferably closer to 65 (with similar performances) for me to be content with him having the summer, although he will most likely get it either way now.
  9. Agreed but I think the faults in his game are all coachable. Also don’t think it’s the most important position that we currently need a signing for. And tbf to him, he’s always available which is in short supply with our current squad.
  10. Was about to say this, didn’t think he put one out today or against Leicester unless he was massively under pressure. Finds Pring consistently for the flick on left side of the half way line as well. At least an above average shot stopper as well.
  11. Might just be a lack of confidence maybe. Have to remember he’s probably 1st or 2nd in line striker to break into the Scotland team. With the Euros round the corner I doubt he’d be “disinterested” personally.
  12. Good game and performances, tripe sub worked very well. If LM keeps doing things like that my opinion will change fair enough to him.
  13. From the angle i was shown looked nowhere near tbh! Might be wrong though.
  14. Keith Stroud having a stinker in our favour there. Sykes wins the ball back, jumps over the challenge and falls over about a foot away and we get a free kick and a plymouth yellow card!
  15. Good counter, good cut in and strike fork mehmeti. Good pressure from Sykes and Nakhi to vacuum the ball into the net!
  16. Loves to contradict himself to criticise Manning, which is odd as there’s many reasonable things to criticise LM about.
  17. Weird one. Got out of the blocks slow, did well enough to not concede any real obvious chances whilst plymouth were on top, although they look dangerous on corners. Came back into it, couple good switches from both Vyner and James. Roberts looks pretty good in their half so far. Twines chance probably the best of the game so far. Defended Conway quite heavily for his lack of goal threat recently due to just not receiving the ball often enough. But has lost possession to easily when he’s gotten it in this one so far imo. Mehmeti playing well again, put a brilliantly ball through to tanner who unfortunately wasn’t on his wave length. Keeping control in the middle of the park will be vital in the second half, force Plymouth into keeping it on either wings. Which Tanner especially has done well to defend against one of Pylmouths more dangerous assets in Mumba. Need to start the second half better then the first, first goal will be vital. COYR
  18. Vyners locked down that diag, four of them all pinpoint to pringy so far.
  19. Brilliantly pass from James, good take down from twine and chip but good save.
  20. stranger from roberts to late it fly over his head to the back post without challenging for it imo
  21. Really strange one this, felt like overall are transfers havent been big misses like this in quite a while. Maybe with the exception of Kane Wilson. But from what we’ve seen of Mebude, which is very little tbf, he doesn’t offer anything of value over another player.
  22. ^^^ Much rather us setting up to play to our strengths rather then the opponents weaknesses. Need to see some more in the final third from Twine today personally, clearly has it in his locker but yet to see it properly.
