  1. Was just thinking about that, Pringy had a hand on the arm and was deemed to have kept it their to long/pulled it back if i remember correctly. Yet having two hands wrapped round dickie whilst looking in the opposite direction of the ball, a charging elbow into the back of the shoulder with no intention of playing the ball and an obvious shirt pull (most debtable as it seemed to start outside the box) are all waved away. I don’t mind if referees are soft on fouls or hard, just be consistent!
  2. That’s what i like to hear! Do agree with your point though, we can’t let ourselves get carried away, this result does ultimately change nothing unless Manning has learnt from his mistakes post Southampton and can prove it on monday and going forward.
  3. Although you might not mean it this way, sounds like your giving credit for the win to Leicesters own problems rather then the team playing well. At the end of the day they are still professional footballers, some of them premier league standard ones. The majority of the context applies to their games against sunderland and hull as well. Who are both above us and failed to capitalise on Leicesters current context and win. There is always a chance to get a win, no matter the opposition. But you still have to go out and get it, which is the harder part.
  4. What? Saints were 20+ unbeaten? Hadn’t lost in 11 away games?
  5. Agreed, Cardiff and Rovers losing as well, lovely start to the weekend
  6. All right, bit of a misquote my bad, doesn’t defer from my point though. And you definitely did say you had “very little motivation for todays game” yet you expected a result?
  7. Tbf that works both ways. Could make similar points about the state of our club, but at the end of the day we came into the game as the worse side and won. simple as imo. Think it’s harsh to brush todays game aside as us beating a side ripe for the taking.
  8. At no point did I claim I know exactly how Manning wants to play, nor that i was the ‘chosen one’ who can see it? Just stating that the composure of MJ and Twines ability to play in the hole, on the half turn which are both lacking elsewhere in the squad are vital assets to LM. And as they have been injured recently it’s harder to define LMs current ability/progress he’s made since he’s come in.
  9. Saw a post on twitter saying the cost of their current squad is £241million. Absolutely bonkers!
  10. You personally said you had barely any motivation for todays game and were more excited about a haircut. Yet at the same time you were expecting us to win? Yep the logic really tracks there. Totally understand if you’re Manning out but if you aren’t going to consider both sides of the debate and give merits when they are deserved because we were somehow expecting to beat a side 35 points ahead of us, 10x the squad value, what’s the point debating in the first place.
  11. Think it just confirms a couple of things for me, once in luck twice is a pattern as the saying goes. He can set us up to beat teams at the top end of the division. It doesn’t change things immediately but gives him a chance to prove himself in the last 7 games. I was close to writing him off personally but i’m less certain now. Just have a knack he has something about him
  12. Don’t know if James being offered a contract extension is completely up to him? If it is i apologise but i don’t see why he won’t get offered one. Maybe he sees Max Bird as his replacement? But he clearly wanted Twine permanently in Jan and James has gone straight back into the team on his return to fitness. Rightly so imo.
  13. Shame Twine and James have missed so many games this side of January, think they are instrumental to how LM actually wants to play. Would’ve given a much better scope on things going into the summer now. Needs to show he can learn from his previous mistakes now, has enough games left to turn opinions, it’s up to him to make that happen!
  14. Didn’t get barged off the ball either, which previously i felt happened all to often for a man of his size.
  15. Strange one, i’m more then manning in then out camp as well but both sides are completely reasonable? Just because someone might not be imminently going doesn’t mean people can’t voice their opinions on them. Bit weird mate.
  16. Expected us to win? Changes nothing? I understand everyone’s opinions differ but this just really confuses me.
  17. Exactly how I feel. When all is dead and buried he pulls those results out the bag, multiple times. But also fails to capitalise on the momentum afterwards. Would be happy with him and the side going into the summer if he gets at least 10 from the remaining 7, taking us to 60+ beating last years mark. Feel like that’s both achievable and a decent benchmark with the injuries and the general turbulent season we’ve had.
  18. As we did to them? Obviously you’re going to concede chances to top of the league with a squad worth literally 10x our own. But they didn’t score. And we did. Piling on when he’s doing poorly but failing to even consider that he can do a good job is completely pointless. Luck plays a factor yes but you can easily call leicester lucky for not receiving a first half red card. Or for Sykes not scoring right after we went ahead.
  19. Yes? Singular errors may still be overly prevalent and that needs to stop. But that doesn’t take away the good work we did all game, completely nullified KDH and both mavidid and fatuwu were ineffective for the majority of the game. Have no problem calling out LM when he gets it wrong, which he has recently. But deserves his plaudits when he gets it right, which he did today. Especially with the subs, which were proactive and changed the game. Something most thought LM wasn’t capable of. He isn’t off the hook yet but perform like that against good sides and find a way to beat the low block and i’m happy for him to stay.
  20. Elated but just realised we’ve handed the league to Leeds or Ipswich with the wins against southampton & Leicester. Don’t know how to feel now
  21. Brilliant game management, brilliant set up, brilliant performance. Do that against a team below us will change my view on manning tbf. Somewhat lucky with vardy missing chances but had quite a few ourselves and should’ve been a red in the first half.
  22. Maxs fault they’re not zak’s, should’ve just booted it king. Good recovery with that save.
