  1. I was wondering the other day what my mum and dad must have done without the internet and computers. I asked the same question to my 18 brothers and sisters, and they also didn't know either.
  2. OLe, Celebrating an away win today will far out way the issues on the way to the match. All the best to you faithful travelling today. Travel safe and sing so loud so I can hear you on the tele.
  3. I can live stream in OZ. Looking at the betting odds your safest money is on a draw. An away win is more of a possibility than a home win though. It will be tight. We keep saying this match will be the one where the tide turns or not in regard to a serious top ten final spot at the end of the season. This one today will be the determined factor and a guideline of where we are really at. COYRedssss
  4. The way injuries are at the moment I think that much water on the surface is a recipe for disaster.
  5. Looks shocking. I noticed the players in the first 15 minutes had an issue where they were slipping on the surface as well. Why was so much water pumped onto the pitch prior to kick off.
  6. Watching live on Be In Sports in OZ. You are correct he did not need to go down to get the penalty. However, it was stated it was still a foul and if he went down a penalty should have been awarded or after that state of play a free in direct kick where the trip occurred inside the penalty box. I got a bit confused but thinking about it now it makes sense. The ref over all was quite good and the game was free flowing. Mehmeti on his last third of play is the issue he has. Does he keep the ball too long and does he need to play a bit more direct. Within the next few months, he will be one of the best assets the club has. It was a great game to watch, and the goals were fantastic. We were though lucky Blackpool did not score their sitter in the first half as the game then might have turned out a bit differently. On the tele I did note that there were loads of empty seats in the stadium. What was the final attendance. If we keep playing like we did yesterday the seats will fill on the next few home games.
  7. Be In Sports Channell 1 in OZ. Western Australia local time 8.15PM. COYRedssssssssss
  8. 2-1 home win today on most sites. Since the turn of the year, Bristol City have been one of the in-form teams in the Championship, collecting 16 points from eight matches to suggest that they could still mount a bid for the playoffs. While that remains the case, a 2-0 defeat at Cardiff City and a goalless draw at Huddersfield Town have led to all momentum being lost at the wrong time. Nigel Pearson will be conscious of that, his team also not scoring more than one goal in a match since February 4, but victory on Saturday would at least keep his side competitive in the race for the playoffs. Although they were defeated 3-0 at home to Manchester City in the FA Cup, Bristol City have been excellent at Ashton Gate of late, collecting 11 points from a possible 15. Pearson's side have also conceded just once in their most recent three league matches on familiar territory ahead of facing opponents who are not known for their goalscoring exploits.
  9. The Soul crew would think they have to pay for two beers then. Or pat their heads in confusion. ?
  10. I remember a couple of years back and the city players were questioned on wheels / doors. It was funny to watch and most said wheels. The average is 53.6% of people when asked choose wheels. Anyway, going back to shelves, I drink my beer too quick to worry about where Iam going to put the receptacle I'm drinking out of.
  11. My head was telling me a 2-2 draw and my heart was an away win for us 3-1 at 28/1 WOW. That would have been good. You can see by all the betting scenarios Cardiff were the slight favorites.
  12. Mr. PP, You are obviously very passionate like me with club. Just letting you know please do not question if I have the wrong team. I have organised multiple get togethers with City supporters in OZ. There are many City flags behind bars in Darwin and the Northern Territory and Perth in Australia.
  13. I have had the right time since I was born in 1962.
  14. sorry mate but my expectations night be a bit higher than yours and most on OTIB. Excuses are valid but only when they're warranted. I feel gutted for those that travelled over the bridge yesterday, the last two months we have all been all on a bit of a hype including yourself. We all want the best for our great club, but please how many excuses can we except when we do not win. We are not quite there yet for a top ten finish. it is always a massive COYR for me
  15. Mr Dante, Sorry mate but my expectations might be a bit higher.
  16. Great points GC, However NP should have fixed this by now. We are all aware of how his hands have been tied in getting players in and how fantastic he has grown the talent within the club. We can all speculate on what NP should do or what players we need in what positions but at the end of the day there is still work to do with what NP has got to his disposal.
  17. Unfortunately, it showed we are a long way off from the Middlesbrough, Blackburn, Luton, Norwich and a few others where they are in positions currently, where we would love to be. OK great start to the new year and you can see when the team plays well there are thousands upon thousands of City of supporters waiting in the wings that start attending Ashton Gate. If we were around the sixth or seventh position at the moment the home attendances will reflect on good performance. I'm expecting of at least 10th this season. This I think is achievable, but a play-off spot is now a dream. Let's be honest was yesterday's performance consistent of a team that we all want to make the play offs or get to close too it. I do not think so. More work for our great manager NP to implement. Those of you 3 x K thousand attended yesterday I commend you so much. You deserved more.
  18. They got 3 points we got none.
  19. Of course, Tuesday had an impact. Doesn't wash me though. Yesterday's performance was poor.
  20. Looking at the various betting sites the predictable likely anticipated score will be 2-2. However, I see a fairly comprehensive away win for us today and it will be a 3-1 win to us. COYR
  21. To create a penalty, you got to somehow push balls and attack into the oppositions 18-yard box. We probably didn't do it for 498 days.
  22. Well, what can I say. NP has certainty got us all excited. The team are now playing very well. Being realistic 23/24 a top six will be not only expected by us City supporters but also our peer other teams in the championship. A top six this season is still potentially possible and the team we have now with NP.s further tweak's will maybe Suprise the masses. I think 22/23 maybe to quick and 23/24 will be the season we change some history.
  23. Well, they must be paying him quite well. Great investment though.
  24. Was on the tele about 4.00pm then the football results followed. Was there not a wrestling Tag team called the Royals ?
  25. Definitely great years were the 70s at Ashton Gate. Great players with Sweeney, Gow, Drysdale, Rodgers, Tainton, Gillies, Mann, Whitehead, Fear, Cheesley, Garland, then came my hero, Hunter. just to name a few. Then 76/77 and it was the 1st division and away to the Gunners in front over 40,000. We then had Stoke, Newcastle, Sunderland and the season started off well as we were undefeated in the first four matches.
