  1. Well I dream of a city win and promotion all the time. I least I have a dream.
  2. So SOF are you are saying you are not confident in the manager at this present time managing our club which currently sits at 7th in the Championship or that Mr Lansdown should stick to commiting more to Bristol Sport in general and concentrate more on the Bears and spill the beans that our current manager currently engaged at our great club is the wrong bloke. The post by Dolman was a question, promotion or relegation, are you saying we do not have a manager at this present time that can bring promotion and that he is more likely a manager that will bring relegation? Have you a loss of interest maybe ??
  3. It has to be promotion. Why would even any one on here contemplate relegation. Those of us that were around in 76 and at Arsenal where the mighty cheese scored for us in front of over 40,000 will never forget that afternoon. Promotion may be not this season but the way we are building the following season 23/24 has the potential for a success.
  4. If we play well of which we will and especially if we get a draw or even more a win our credibility in this league will automatically see us as always a top six of what the team deserves in how they have played in the last six weeks.
  5. Hope so Dave. Both sides will score tonight and there is not much in it to pick a winner. Norwich with winning their last five and us winning four and drawing one. It being at Carrow Road you would think that most betting safely would put their money on the home side. I-am hoping for a small upset Norwich 1 and us scoring 2.
  6. Watched live on Be In Sports in OZ. I think Weimann was probably a 8 as he missed a goal in the second half and in normal circumstances would of put it away. All be it a great positive display and team commitment.
  7. are we any better though, are we a positive respective club in the championship.
  8. I was not a fan of his but he did do something better than that. Did we not get promoted to the championship.
  9. we are still not where we should be. I do not know what the answer is or claim to be an expert. I looked at the match replays against Coventry in the week and noticed the young kids in our section running to the fence line so excited we were scoring goals, they were jumping up and down and the 350 or so that were there were singing their bloody heads off. It is a shame this maybe only happening in the cup and not the championship. There was some success in the LJ earlier seasons but not sure what better resources he had.
  10. I have been dreaming of division one football and Prem league now for what would be 40 or so years. I live every day looking forward to those golden years again the seasons 75,76,77,78,79. I retired last week and I sincerely hope and deeply wish for success.
  11. Might open a can of worms here but if LJ was still with us would be in a better position than we are in now.
  12. Yes. I did read most.
  13. Just looked at the Scania and Irizar web site. They promote and claim reliability and performance. Shame it does not pass on our flow through to the ones at BS3 that travel in one ?
  14. Top Robin I totally agree with you. Listening today NP is starting to repeat himself on various web sites. " I-am frustrated and disappointed with some of the official decisions and our inability to stay a head when we are winning" The last two years we all think give him a chance. How many chances does he get ?. We finished 17th last season and with even taking on board the pre season friendlies it looks like no improvement on 17th again as what have we seen that is better. NP in his earlier years was a fair to great defender at Shrewsbury, Middlesborough and Sheffield Wednesday in his playing days. Later being successful with Leicester City but will it happen at BS3?? Time for NP to hang up his boots and hand back the keys to his car and office if we are all honest as it looks like we will struggle again this season. I feel sorry for all the fans that week in and week out turn up and leave disappointed where their expectations have diminished. Not sure who can replace NP but something needs to happen or take place where some wins are on the board in the next few weeks. Can any one on here honestly say we are in a better position now than in season 2019/20
  15. Thank Phil, I did not check my spelling
  16. It is great posting this information. If true what steps are there to complain or put a suitable case forward to reinstate a bus service. You have sort of dangelled waiting on some unfortunate ones that this will effect. Have you a proposal to fight this proposal to all that read your post
  17. we need to keep dreaming. I suppose we all do it early in a new season. What I do know dreaming or not how good would it be if we made the paly offs or even got promoted. We are very well set up as we could be for this season. As long as the team week in and week out perform we should do well. A top four position after two months will give great cofidense to the team and all of us supporters. We are all screaming out for success.
  18. Very sad news. The Seekers were one of Australias first successful musical exports. Judith was born in Essendon which is very close to Melbourne. Judith was a great singer and complimented by Athol Guy, Bruce and Keith Potger. "never find another you" and "gregory girl" will always stand out
  19. Just looked on bet 365. See below. We have conceded 2 or more goals in 12 of the last competative 20 matches. Sunderland have not been beaten on their last 17 matches. What ever market you are looking at in either pounds or dollars it is below. A close win I hope for us but a draw might be the best bet if you are betting from your head and not your heart. We were very unlucky to lose at Hull and let us hope we win today. 2.45 for a City win. 2.9 for a Sunderland win 3.25 for a draw.
  20. Well I-am not a critic. But if we do not win wait and see the negativity on OTIB.
  21. Well for me an expectation is a strong belief like all on here that this season will be fruitfull and we will get promoted.
  22. Nah but the critics will be out before you are eating your bacon and eggs tomorrow morning. Unfortunately all our expectations on OTIB are high this season and we all wish for the play offs
  23. I agree. But if we go in at half time down the unfortunate ones amongst us will start writing the season off. There is pressure like other seasons but a home win today is critical for team moral and everyone in Bristol
