Something I noticed was that our player was made to leave the field of play and had to wait to be waved back on but they made the substitution and their player was allowed on the pitch as play resumed. Marginal I know but still an advantage.

Guilty at times of overplay in previous games. Beating the man and coming back in to the tackle again but tonight I thought he kept it simple and kept it moving forward. He looked very assured.

We are two weeks out! ? No seriously! I remember pre seasons where we’ve thumped teams and had a shit season. I also remember going to watch us vs Weston Super Mare and losing then going on to win the league and the cup. I guess what I’m trying to say is we won’t know how good or bad we are till we start the season. In Nigel we trust!

All managers are judged on results but if you look past that at performances then under Dean initially we looked very good but dropped off. We had a little renaissance under Nigel that flattened out but over all since Christmas we’ve steadily improved and playing much better.

Except Dean was on a downwards slide and Pearson is on an upward curve. Think Dean will go on and be very successful in the game but right guy at the wrong time with the wrong support. Different being Nigel doesn’t need support as right guy at right time at wrong club! ?

I wasn’t going to renew but the first weekend without football and the wife took me shopping. I quickly gave my head a wobble and signed up for another year! ?

We should never have lost to Coventry! If the fans in the Dolman and South Stand had got behind the players a bit more we might have got something out the game. They were non existent on the night! Terrible support! ?

Have been taking my lads but they’re off to sit with their mates next year so going to not renew and POTD. Went to Peterborough away this year for an over night and enjoyed that so am going to use the money saved and pick a few away games next year. Not enjoying the match day experience as much anymore. Silly things could improve it as well. The quality of the food has dropped, the band always come on late( we get up to ground at one). No toilets outside when you are having a few beers in the sunshine. Busses unreliable leaving the ground. Have a new born as well so miss out on time with him but will join when he’s old enough to come and watch.

He would be great in league 1. Would be a good move for him. He’s ok in championship but needs to be part of a settled defence where he is drilled in his roll.

But he’d never smoked Astro Turf either!
