  1. As people like to have an attachment to something. How did football cope for years and years without them?
  2. Not really no, I’d support city regardless of what division they are in. You come across like a glory hunter its better to be someone for a day, than a nobody for a lifetime. Take Gretna for example, probably had the time of their lives and still have a club to support now. We have had bar a few years at the start and the odd game, 99% of pure mediocrity.
  3. Gave it a shot though didn’t they, it could of paid off.
  4. Oooo ffp as everyone else is super scared of that arnt they.
  5. No-one among the new ownership group was in any way offended by the attire of the fans who chose to celebrate in this way. It was a gesture that was acknowledged as positive and welcoming in its intent. ——— no one was actually offended then....
  6. The problem is, with on the rise people then complain we never get an established manager, as historically we never have done. Nigel is the “biggest” manager we have had.
  7. We’re Bristol city, who will we get with a good record that is on the rise?
  8. I highly doubt we would sell 20k at £250 a pop though, that’s the problem.
  9. Without doubt! If there wasn’t movement in the stand it would of I imagined fallen down. Dont think we will have anything like that again at the gate, even the atmosphere and demographic has completely changed since then.
  10. @Robbored The police do not “kettle” away fans, nor do they hold them back so your “fact” isn’t correct. Avon and Somerset police feel doing this is counter productive and actually makes situations worse. @JulieH could you confirm?
  11. Buildings should have a level of tolerance for movements, look towards the Far East for how they deal with earthquakes etc. If the Dolman wasn’t safe after the Hartlepool game for example it would had never of been opened again.

    O’Dowda

144 league appearances 7 goals 10 assists How anyone could think the above is good is crazy, Even more the fact he was basically refusing to sign a contract, thinking someone better would come and didn’t proved a point. No one wanted him on a free, yet we are still going for him? I personally think he’s dreadful at this level and those stats prove it. He’s an international player all by luck, being English but having Irish grandparents. He would never in a million years get in the England team, so he’s lucky he’s been given the chance for a country he’s not actually from.
  13. Sorry to bust your bubble, but owners/chairmen/women get direct feeds to all games. This is throughout the 92 clubs
  14. Hi Jerry, I can’t find an option to reply, but I think you have missed the point with my questions. For anyone with an annual pass who are overseas, you purchase a yearly pass, you are not purchasing a League game only pass. Why were the 3 games not included in the annual pass? I’m guessing for money obviously, but the club cannot change the goal posts when it suits them. An annual pass is an annual pass, nowhere was it stated it didn’t include all games.
  15. Hey guys, come on now Can people stop using facts like the small pox vaccination that was made to be put in everyone. It’s just simply not fair on @Riaz is it. You shouldn’t be allowed to bring facts to an argument. @Riaz I take it your kids haven’t been vaccinated against anything then when they were babies? If they were, what due diligence did you do prior to letting them have the vaccines?
  16. Following up from the post that hasn’t been replied to yet, Why are fans that have an annual pass for robins tv not been allowed to watch the pre season friendlies? Nowhere where signing up was it stated these would not be shown with the membership, it isn’t the Same as a season ticket, you have paid purely for robins TV for a year. To make matters worse, a steam of robinsTV is always available on easily accessible IPTV platforms (yes it’s “illegal”). Why after what has happened over the last year, the club still feels it’s ok to take the Mickey out of supporters who have already paid money for passes. Yet again, it’s not fans, it’s customers.
  17. You know and I know it’s due to the £££, any other work place and it would be closed down by now for not being covid secure. I can’t legally go to the pub in a tier 2 area with a mate, but if we were both professional footballers I could man mark him for an hour and a half without a problem. I don’t know of any other job where you could stand that close to someone for that long without a daft plastic screen, or a mask etc.
  18. Phantom I think you have lost the plot. Are you saying that all 2000 fans attending the games will free of covid?
  19. Do you personally feel 2000 people in the same place at the moment is a good idea?
  20. @phantom if you genuinely believe this new strain of covid that spreads 70% easier is only a tier 4 problem and it won’t spread, where on earth have you been since March? Its like people on the original covid thread who said covid was nothing to worry about and we would be back to normality in month or so. Anyone who think it is a good idea to go near a football ground with 2000 people in, or a busy pub etc and think it’s safe needs their head looking at and is one of the reasons we are at this state in this country. People have to stop mixing, it’s as simple as that. Look at New Zealand for example, how they are basically back to normality then look at the mess in this country. There is no way I will be going anywhere near the gate for a long time.
  21. But @Spoons said it’s all tied up and rovers are moving in next week
  22. Are you honestly classing going to the cinema/theatre the same as a football match? There’s massive differences just in the demographics and behaviour on a whole.
  23. “But I’m fit and healthy, it’s got a 0.000000001% death rate I saw it on YouTube it’s a scam, why should I care about others”
  24. Makes even less sense, Basically been told not to show their home games, But can carry on showing away games....
  25. They are the ground is all finished and ready to go, they had their open day a couple of weeks ago.
