How many of those clubs had the same average wage bill as Fulham have had this season? Or Everton probably will have? Or even Newcastle had? I also don’t think you can compare Cardiff, for example, being relegated to Everton. I agree that getting Cardiff straight back up would be a great achievement. Getting Everton up at the first attempt wouldn’t be anywhere near as difficult.
